I had understood that the Yashinon lenses are 4 element tessar design versus the triplet Yashikor design. This is why normally the later Yashinon lenses are valued over the earlier triplet Yashikor lenses.
The "Auto" seems to be a mixture of a Yashica-Mat and a Yashica-D. You should also mention that to use the self timer the flash sync must be set to "X". The "M" sync raises a lock that disables the self timer. When set to "M" the self timer is used for the delay. I've found many Yashica TLR's cameras with broken timers due to forcing them when the sync is set to "M".

sadly as far as i know, nobody makes 220 film today but you can find them on ebay. the yashica auto may not be able to take 220 film
