"Chan" adjusts the hardness according to the temperature at that time.
The room temperature in the workplace at this time is about 25 ° C. (Value on digital room temperature meter)
Chan (pine fat) 35g.
Sesame oil 10 ml.
Be careful not to get burned during this process.
Put "Chan" in a pan and heat it over low heat to melt it.
Put sesame oil in the completely melted place and mix while heating on low heat.
The melted "Chan" is very hot and sticky and cannot be removed immediately, so be careful not to get burned.
Slowly put in water to cool.
If it is too hot, it may bounce, so you can cool it a little.
When it's cool enough to hold in your hand, put it on leather and let it cool for a while.
I will make a prototype thread.
This "Chan" seems to have been successful.
My method is not perfect.

私の「チャン」の作り方
作業場の環境に合わせて適切な「チャン」を作るように心がけています。
「チャン」は作業場の室温で固さを調節して使っています。
この時の作業場の室温は25℃くらい。（デジタル室温計での数値）
洋チャン（松脂） 35ｇ
ごま油 10ml
この作業でやけどしないように注意してください。
鍋に「洋チャン」を入れて、弱火で熱して溶かします。
完全に溶けたところにごま油を入れ、弱火で熱しながら混ぜ合わせます。
溶けた「チャン」は非常に熱く、粘り気があるためすぐに取り除くことができませんので、やけどにはくれぐれも注意してください。
水にゆっくりと入れて冷まします。
熱すぎると跳ねる場合もありますので、少し冷ましても良いと思います。
手で持っても大丈夫なくらい冷めたら、しばらく革の上に放置してさらに冷ましましょう。
すくい縫いの麻糸を試作してみます。
今回の「チャン」はうまくできたようです。

成分とかの理由はよくわかりませんが、ごま油は香りが良いので使っています。
私も詳しいことは分からないで使っていました。
