The next time you're in Josey I'd appreciate a pan around of the place. I don't care much for 45s, but I'm just interested in what the store looks like inside.
At first I did think it was just a lot of looking at records getting flipped through. But after a lot more watching I see a vintage gear and record lathe nut like myself, as well as an obvious musician and all around cool guy. I am seeing this shop as a favorite stop. I am a music distributor myself, not just a record collector.
I grew up listening to Billy's Ripsaw cuts, still love 'em and now have 'em on CD. His magnum opus was the double-A 45, 'Can't be Satisfied' / 'Rootie Tootie'. Probably more respected than collected (being 'revival') but all the same it is - respected.
Good golly if a lot of those 45s were a dollar each I probably wouldn’t be passing up many of them but I guess that’s just me. By the way what was that repetitious tune playing in the background.
Wayne Hancock did a song at during the credits of movie Devil in the Flesh, that just blew me away. He sounded every bit as good as Hank Williams. And I don't even like country music.

The ever shrinking stack of maybe good 45 😁
I am really interested in that Gospel Warriors 45 you pulled. I couldn't tell if it's on a label and what the songs are. Not sure if I know that one.
Reminder: schedule your vehicle inspection.
