Reminds me to watch my own speed. When a motorway is busy, I've this urge to overtake them all at 85, 90. If it's very quiet, I'll gladly just do 60 in the left lane.
Some People Do 90 On The Northern State Parkway Meadowbrook State Parkway southern State Parkway Long Island Expressway (I 495) Clearview Expressway (I 295) Cross Island Parkway Seaford Oyster Bay Express (NY 135) And Grand Central Parkway
That sounds fair enough to me. Also, as he was reading the map at the wheel, he didn't notice the speed creep up, so not his fault. In any case, he didn't hit anything so he didn't need insurance that trip. So a bit of an unfair stop really. Let's play the institutional racism card and get them some compensation to pay for the taxi home......
Whoever's reading this, i pray that whatever you're going through gets better and whatever you're struggling with or worrying about is going to be fine and that everyone has a fantastic day! Amen
The UK uses mph. The Republic of Ireland uses kph officially but mph unofficially (some manufacturers have kph speedometers as an option for sine reason)
nah that's how UK officers operate. if you break the speed limit, run through a red light with a car that isn't insured then getting your car towed and getting arrested isn't uncommon in any country with proper police enforcement
🫡 to that officer, kept it simple and professional
"we're lost so my knowledge of red lights goes out of the window" .......
Pretty sure being a named driver on a car you own isn't automatically 'fronting' so long as you aren't the person who drives the car the most

Ban him for life.
We don't know what is going on..

"we're lost" Not an excuse when smart phones exist bud. Ever thought about slapping the gps on your smart phone?
Considering smart phones are very expensive nowadays as well as the personal decision to not use one, it’s not that unreasonable
hes driving a 30k bmw

Using a phone whilst driving is an offence. You can use a phone for navigation (only) as long as you set it up before you move off

Speed limit is 70 miles, that's a lot
most highways max at 70-80 miles per hour
you go more than that then it's on you once you get stopped

Why do British people use mph I thought they would use kph
We've always been mph. I think Europe do kph.

Well wait till you hear this, we sell petrol in litres and measure fuel consumption in MPG.
The UK And US Are 2 Only Countries That Use MPH Australia Uses km/h
The concept of miles (the imperial mile, anyway) comes from Britain
