- The Most Terrifying Minecraft Mod
In this video I play Minecraft 1.19 with the Cave Dweller mod made by @Gargin . It adds a purpose to cave sounds and a creature that will hunt you down through caves and make scary noises. I will be going mining to gather different resources and I will try not to survive for as long as possible. This mod truly makes the game terrifying! (The mod is also known as cavenoise.jar)

Interestingly enough, most youtubers I've seen trying the cave dweller mod haven't seen Gargin's video explaining the AI behind the monster
They do that so the video is more interesting, its way scarier and a better video if they go in blind.
I watched the original video on the creator's devlog or whatever so i knew he could crawl through 1 block and 2 block gaps, so i was just waiting for him to get surprised lol

the creator should add a version where the cave dweller instantly spawns as soon as you step inside a cave

okay cave sounds actually do mean something. they’re directional for a reason and they tell you that theres an unexplored cave nearby
funny thing is, the cave sounds play only if you spend some time in dark enough room, so even if your world is just pure void with only the small dark box, the sound will play if you stand inside, you can even predict when the sound will play, depending on the “mood” stat in the f3 menu

Even tho the cave dweller is just a mod, it is still my favorite mob
I think the Terraria Crimson theme works well in the times you used it.

anyone have the same problem I have where the game crashes when you kill it? I have the mod on 1.19.4 but thats a version its compatible with so I dont really understand
r u sure its compatible with 1.19.4? The creator of the mod wrote that it's meant for 1.19.3. I don't know if this is the cause of the issue but i'm just speculating
@@DiffyMC It is somewhat I guess? I Tried it in 1.20 and the error message I got said version must be above or equal to 1.19.3 but below 1.20 so I think its both? Truly I just want to put together a nice modpack but 1.19.3 is just so niche and no good cave mods like quark are on it

@@RPM12534 It's the most popular/best Minecraft modding version that nearly every modder uses. There's a reason why half the comments on the curseforge project is people begging for a 1.12 port.
It would be extremely hard to even find it in 1.12 caves

You need to install Forge 1.19.3 and drop the mod's jar file into ur mods folder

Im not trying to hate the mod itself but i don't get it when people say is scary because it should have a stage of encountering and its to easy to kill and just using 3 blocks up he cant kill ya.
