    Henry (Vy-las) Zoo, arboretum, badgers sports, state street, Chazen museum, olbrich gardens. Lots of bike paths & parks on lakes. Multiple concert venues. You can go to Verona & see the Epic Systems campus. Minor league mallards baseball games. Dive bars on Atwood & the legendary vic pierce liquor store. Love Madison

      It can be (for a little while). Then u go to visit a city like Chicago, then u want to relocate. I grew-up in Mdsn - now live in Chicago. Just went to recent H.S. Reunion. Haven’t seen these people in 20 yrs. Found out that about 1/2 the class relocated to Chicago right after graduation. I’ve only bumped in to one former classmate. I still have fmly in Mdsn., so I still travel there. And I greatly miss it from time to time - hence what brought me to this video. But it’s not much to do, & is quiet in comparison to other metropolitan cities. But doesn’t have the same trouble that these bigger cities have either.

      You're absolutely right about big city vibes, I'm originally from California but now living in south west Texas I feel the emptyness metropolitan offers however the cost of living is considerably less..

      I moved from Waukesha to Madison 20 years ago
      I love it here.
      And it was much safer to be here during the pandemic
