    Morning, folks! Testing out a slightly different review here. If you're a long-time watcher, we'd love to get your feedback on this style of review. How do you feel about it?

    I just ordered one and am excited. I’m also glad to see that you are at 220. I’m at 195 - 200lb and was a little afraid of being at the higher end of the limit but if you are 220 dry then with the clothing and gear you are OVER 220 and it still performs fine.

    had a unagi, regretted it and sold it 6 months after. no suspension, you can feel all the bumps. would be really good for college campuses with super smooth roads.

      @electrifiedreviews  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, I totally get that! After riding it around for awhile, compared with single or dual-suspension scooters, a bit of a rackety journey. But, if you have slick roads and like you said, a campus commute, or something like that, could be slick!

      We understand that preferences can vary when it comes to ride quality and suspension. While Unagi scooters are designed to provide a smooth and comfortable ride on most urban surfaces, we acknowledge that different environments may have different levels of road conditions. We appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration as we continue to improve our products.

    The latest iteration on the model one is great. You can also unlock the scooter to get up to 20mph

      @@ashishkedia6105 it’s all the same for all models: while holding down the throttle and the brake at the same time, pressing the power button 10 times and you’ll hear two beeps when it’s done.

      Pretty sure it was locked. I didn't do any extra fancy settings changes here, so might be some more power available not sure though.

    I don't know how they're selling these. Unagi is the most over priced scooter brand. It looks minimalistic but I wouldn't really say that it looks good either. Even the crappy Bugatti scooters at Costco would probably be better than an Unagi lol

    • @electrifiedreviews

      Hahaha yeah $1,200 is a bit of a steep price for a scooter, in general. I think the stylish-ness maybe deserves some price points, but that will only be a value to certain people. It seems like you're more of a function over form kinda person :P Also, something that may be keeping those prices higher is the push towards the subscription based model. So spend $1,200 today for the scooter, or $70/mo for 17 months. If it were me, and I had to have this scooter, based on current battery tech, and cash flow, that subscription based option looks pretty interesting. And that's a different mindset as well, like people who just rent their car, and get a new model every year. I don't necessarily get that myself, but it works for some people. On paper the subscription option seems like a good value vs. buying.

      @@UnagiScooters Oh, okay, that does justify the price a bit. Since the subscription covers maintenance and repairs, there is some value there. I was thinking it is steep in terms of the performance and features compared to competitors. When you get to $1000, you start to get 1000W, dual motor, some form of suspensions for both front and rear. I do see that your scooters look well built so great job on that.

    • @electrifiedreviews
      @electrifiedreviews  ปีที่แล้ว

      I mean...if one exists tomorrow...then it's a scooter of the future. haha I do see how looking at this, and some of the other scooters out there, how that may seem a bit salesy. But honestly some of those titles are off the dome. And it looks futuristic, and Star Trek Voyager...which, you know, futuristic stuff. lol
