I think that it's a worthwhile upgrade if only to achieve a greater bulb life expectancy. Thanks for the video, Tim, and may I wish you good health and happiness for this new year. Keith 👍
The clip is actually used to hold the housing to the stalk. If you look at the original assembly, it has one built in on the back side. I opted for the Cyclops Evolution Safety Turn Signal Inserts.
Hey Tim, I decided to do the same using the Europe LED turn signal lights. Basically I replaced all 4 OEM signal lights, not just the bulbs like in your video. The issue is I'm having a super fast flashing when turn on the signal lights and an erros message on my dashboard about the lights. I'm assuming that's because the voltage difference between the halogen bulbs and the led's. I took the bike to the BMW dealer hoping that they can reset the ECU and make the led turn signals working normally. However, they said that because of the US legislation they cannot do that because the bike must run using the halogen bulbs instead. Well, I do know that you can bypass that using resistors and my question to you is how to make this work? Have you seen this issue before? Thanks and great video!
Hi Ian, I have not seen them for the KLR from Weiser. There may be other makers that have a version to fit the KLR, but Iam not aware of any. Thanks for the comment and for wathing.
They make inserts to fit any of the arrow style signals used by most European cycle manufacturers. So, they likely won't fit your KLR. However, Weiser Technik does now make entire turn signal assemblies, which you can install on your KLR, then you can add the LED inserts. I sell Weiser's entire line of products. Hi Schmidt, I don't agree. I'm sure some KLR guys have left, but my subscribers have continued to grow. This was never meant to be a KLR only channel, it's about motorcycles and other things I do in my garage. However, I do appreciate your feedback and I thank you for watching.

Yet another very useful video on how to help upgrade the GSA.... Very well done, as all ways Tim :). Happy New Year.
Thanks for the comment Craig, and Happy New Year to you as well.
Great video! Don’t you need a relay so they don’t hyperblink?
Thanks for the install video as well as the final comparison between both setups...
Happy New Year, Tim.
May you and your have many more.

Where can I find the lights that you have mounted on either side of your license plate?
