I was not expecting to be hit with such hard feels at this part but man oh man. You go through all these fights and exploring with Elizabeth and then take moment like this. It really feels like a humble break among all the chaos. This game will forever have a lasting place in my heart.
one of my favorite parts about this scene is that her singing and his playing don't match up perfectly. They could easily recorded it and had it in perfect sync for the final version in the game but it feels more genuine in this scene. I love it.
This was probably the most beautiful, touching moment I've ever experienced in any game. And I've played many, nothing tops this. The only thing that even comes close is probably the epilogue in RDR2 when Cruel World starts playing.
#spoilerahead #warning at first i thought itll be sweet if Booker and Elizabeth be in some romantic relationship then will end happily ever after and then i realized that booker is actually ellis dad. god damn plot twist!
With the multiple universe theory, I heard it's actually possible that they are not father and daughter. Their relationship might not be a constant like how Booker is always at the river to get baptised is a constant and happens in every world. It's just the world this game takes place in then they are father and daughter. Food for thought. I maybe wrong, but i am pretty certain I heard this from multiple people.
I love this. Both while playing and just listening to it. But I noticed he picks up a nylon stringed guitar but it sounds like a steel string guitar... am I wrong on that?

This may very well be my favorite set-piece in any game, ever.
SonicDMonkey Wholeheartedly seconded. It's a CRIME that the soundtrack to this game isn't on itunes.
This was the most perfect moment I've experienced in gaming.
Nostalgia is unmatched
I wish this had been three times as long, but it was a beautiful moment and I'm glad they put it in the game.
i massacred the entire bar and headed down the basement for some quality tume with my daughter. *BADASS*
Actually shes the old guys daughter but booker is the old guy... but from anotehr timeline. But not... But... AHAHAHHAHAHAAHGHHH
I did not knew she was my daughter in my first playthrough
I had a crush on her
I feel guilty and awkward now...

How in the world did they find this perfect song that so accurately fits the story? It’s almost like they wrote the game around the song.
They had 3 songs fitting the game.
This made me feel a feel I've never felt before.
I was so glad I found this organically during my first play through. Such a great piece
2 seconds later
Here med kit! Catch it booker!
Am I the only one who tried to select the guitar again but it was unavailable?
the developers of this had some friggin heart in it man
The nostalgia of this is unmatched the spark it brings to my soul gives me a joy and happiness Ive rarely encountered lately
Hope it’s gotten better man
"Wish I could play the guitar, might be able to dispel some of the gloom..."
*Plays guitar*
*Sings gloomy song*

I’ve been looking for a playback of the scene as it was also one of the most moving and beautiful movements in any game that comes to memory
A lot of people talk a lot about what this game wasn’t, they often forget what it was
If you go downstairs in the Shantytown bar the guitar is there and you can choose to play it or not.
Tanks is the 3rd play (the 3rd play i playing now) and i no get that moment
This was the moment when I realized I was playing one of the greatest games ever
I wanted this moment to continue

I totally missed this when I played it :( will I create a totally new save file just to do this scene? Duh!!
Cracking version of tainted love in the background as well.

All is possible true, but shes must not looked like elli we knew if shes not booker daughter, rite
Goes from guitar to gun nonchalantly

Imagine playing through this game without this encounter...
Elizabeth necesita aplausos
Ive played the game twice and never got that Elizabeth dialogue
I love this. Both while playing and just listening to it. But I noticed he picks up a nylon stringed guitar but it sounds like a steel string guitar... am I wrong on that?
I swear this song reminds me of the movie, "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" but this song makes the movie moot and retarded. I love this song.
I skipped this part 😭😭 i need to replay it someday
Booker is Johnny Cash
