Oh such a sweet guy, Paul was the cutest kid on the DR show, and he is still a cute guy, still looks and talks like himself, and I loved the little songs he sang, so cute, but I'am very sad to know he has the copd from smoking. Sad, but I send paul prayers and love for his healing. I enjoyed his cute little storys. I enjoyed him and seeing him again. and so sweet he shared story of some of the actors and can remember it well, such a sweet interview, God bless you all.
Thank you, so much, for sharing this! Have met Paul several times over the years, at autograph shows & other events. Always a very kind and lovely guy!
Thanks so much for covering Paul's music career. Especially the story behind "My Dad". I was too young to catch Paul's initial wave of popularity. But I began collecting records as a kid in the late 60s and I encountered "Keep Your Love Locked" at a garage sale with the original picture sleeve. I took it home, played it, and fell in love with it. As it turns out, it was a Carole King/Jerry Goffen composition and deserved to be a much bigger hit. But the charts were tough on follow-up hit singles by kids since Paul already had his first hit with "She Can't Find Her Keys". But nothing was going to stop "My Dad" from becoming a massive hit when it was eventually released. Great follow-up interview and Paul still has a nice singing voice.
Met Paul twenty years back at Sonny Sardo's home along with George Putnam. A genuine heartfelt man. Loved Donna Reed growing up and never missed the Donna Reed Show. Can't tell you how many times over the decades I have listened to "My Dad" and talk show host Mike Douglas' "The man in my little girls life" always misty eyed. Today Paul resembles tennis pro Jimmy Connors - Love you Paul, stay well and happy.
I could listen to Paul talk all day long! I especially like hearing any stories about Carl Betz. There doesn’t seem to much out there about Carl, so I like listening to Paul especially on this topic. Thank you both so much!
Thank goodness for Paul Peterson. With his wisdom & tenacity, he's helped countless individuals in & out of the industry. A wonderful, wonderful human being! Loved this interview. Literally laughed out loud with his story about being paid cash & then signing like a bird for the 2nd show. Fabulous stories. Looking forward to part 2. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the encore appearance of Paul. Insightful info from him sharing his health issues and the sadness of Annette and Dick Clark feeling that their fans love was conditional.
The interviews with Paul and Shelley are amazing. I was hoping one of them would shed some light on why the character Scotty dated Mary in the early seasons and was Jeff's buddy in the later seasons despite the difference in age. That has always confused me.
It’s too bad you didn’t send me your question a couple weeks ago. I just finished a three episode interview with Shelley and her husband, Mike Farrell where they answer fan questions. I will be releasing the first episode of the interview soon😀

Thanks Paul, I agree.

PAUL is one of the best. a real icon and hoped he would have stayed in ACTING & hollywood.
Paul is an icon and I think if his health had been better he might have acted longer:)
Great interview, John. Just grateful that Paul is still around!
Really appreciate that Ron😀

Oddly enough there isn’t much on Carl Beth as big as he was at the time😀
I would like Stefanie Powers to be a guest on your show sometime in the future
Stefanie has already been a guest, look for my two episode interview with her, enjoy!
@ I’ll definitely give it a listen

Glad you enjoyed Paul, just a genuine person who really cares. I loved that story too about the concert and the cash😀
Thoroughly enjoyed this! We love you, Paul. ♥️
Awesome to hear Martha!

It so crazy and sad that Annette Funicello and Dick Clark would think illness would make their fans not like them
