Hi sir, I have been following you since very long. Your videos really help me to develope as a structural engineer. Recently I was encountered with an interview where interviewer asked me, in piperack all longitudinal beams are released thus there will be no moment transfer at bottom of column but what about the moment coming at bottom of column from transverse direction which is moment connection? How pinned base plate will counter that moment. As far I know moment is carried by bolts so Is it the answer that the moment is carried by bolts present within the flanges. Can you please explain about it? Thank you for all the help sir🙏
