- In a political campaign organized by the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee on April 19 at Supermarket, Dimapur, Joel Naga, President of Rising Peoples Party (RPP) gave a statement where he said BJP & NDPP is going to destroy the culture and identity of Nagas. Joel mentioned that if our CM Rio cares for us then why is he not raising his voice against them in the center. NDPP and BJP alliance known as PDA Government is following the footsteps of RSS where the believers of christ are harassed and most importantly churches are vandalized by RSS in india. Tribals and Minorities of India are being deprived of their basic rights and the Chief Minister of Nagaland says Christians are safe in India, RPP Chief appealed to the people of Nagaland to support the candidature of S. Supongmeren Jamir.
