Although I know what he does is probably "just" sleight of hand, I still only have a snowball's chance in hell of figuring out how he does the things he does, so my mind just goes: "Eff this, the guy is cheating and using real magic instead of tricks" :)
Have you seen him on Pen & Teller? He did a couple of tricks and you could see at once that he already fooled them and then he says it was just the warm up and now starts the actual trick.

I think it might be his Spanish mentality - the Spanish are known for being way more comfortable with touching other people, even people they don't know - the frequent way of greeting women is by kissing them on the cheeks. Anyway, that's my charitable, benefit-of-doubt interpretation of what is happening here.

That trick fooled the heck out of me and because of that I still don't know and will not want to know how it's done.I went through the lecture millions of times and always when Dani begins talking about the trick I turn off the computer ( I bought the lecture at Penguin). I strongly recommend Dani's work as it's close to my heart and to many other fellow magicians.

Wow, he is fking amazing! I still can't get over how flawless his execution is. Also, that girl was super annoying. Why on earth would you go up on stage and be visibly annoyed the whole time. She was actually getting mad at Dani DaOrtiz while he was making jokes and doing his routine...what a prude. Dani deserved better.
Why was she super annoying?! She doesn't look at all annoyed, just confused, and Dani's style is precisely designed to create that reaction. Her reactions were surely what every magician wants! Looking completely and sincerely baffled and pretty damn hot at the same time.
The confidence to pull it off while seeming to be so haphazard....amazing.
