There were stories made for each character, Rickie th-cam.com/video/DWo5-pFrjNg/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/rdmRafqeQPg/w-d-xo.html Janeen for example, and they both received the same amount of dislikes 30k to 1k likes, though they were from a nuclear family structure background. A video main focus on having two moms, i could see the dislike, but why the dislike of the other videos of Rickie and Janeen, who so happen to be brown.

The russian one is about overcoming his flaws and the greatest foe wich is what he was before. The narrator litteraly says that the soldier's background doesn't matter at all.
That's perfect, and that's exactly what gets some people to sign up, this US army ad is only driving people away

Even though I'm aware a lot of people who sign up don't get put in a combat situation, sometimes I have this reasoning that because I don't have a family, maybe it's better for me to fill that role than someone who does.

As a career Army combat arms vet, I am embarrassed and angered by this pathetic political ad pretending to be a recruitment ad.
I would just like to say these commercials are humiliating not only the the military but for us as a country and the military isn’t for everyone. Also Kyle yeah we might of lost Vietnam objective wise but there wasn’t to many able-bodied men after we left. The north only took after our withdrawal, so yes technically we did lose but it’s not like we lost in kill death ratio or we got massacred.

Alas, my friend, this is already a fait accompli. Only men and only women serve in the Russian army. Lesbians, homosexuals and transgender people and other creatures unknown to traditional science do not serve in the Russian army. The military in Russia feel comfortable at an air temperature of -58°F to +122°F degrees. And armament in Russia today is one of the most advanced on the planet.

So I am from India and I think we can all agree that the armies all around the world operate on Honor, Courage and Code. So why don't the American ads target these virtues. Show the everyday reality of an armyman deployed in a warzone. The discipline and Honour they hold to do what needs to be done. Instead of going in either direction of hypermasculinity or super woke direction, highlight what there is. Invoke the respect they get in the uniform. That's the hook.

The outpost with a MIM-104 controlled by Corporal Emma Malonelord gets hit by a Chinese PCL-181 artillery strike leaving the camp in ruins. You are a 1st Private soldier that was with Emma when your tent was nearly hit with a shell. Your legs are injured and you can't walk but Emma happens to be fine. You look at her in distress knowing you won't be able to make it 80m out of the kill range of the next shot that is in roughly 30 seconds...

What I found interesting was the part that it talked about she broke the stereotype of a broke kid doing it for school. She was already in it and still wanted to serve. That I thought was cool. Being a solider was her idea of how to be a strong woman like those she idolized. And I can respect that. Idk why y'all are so damn fussy about it.

This is not how you get young men ready to go fight wars, this is not something that’s going to raise morale, this is not something that a recruit is gonna look back on when they are enlisted. It’s fucking war and should be treated as such. Your background or who you are doesn’t matter in the military because everyone is here to do one goddamn thing and that’s protect and serve.
It's not about individual stories that's the damn point. It is about the unity of the country and working as a unit. The Russian/Chinese ads show this as well as patriotic duty for your country.
Because it's not about her, it's about the country.
Patriotism isn't about "me", it's about the values of the nation and preserving those values. These woke ads, and the woke ideology in general, is a destructive force that is completely antithetical to American values.
