This tutorial was awesome! Before I found this video, I could not orient the text to the proper plane. Now I have a different question. I followed step by step but when I come to the pad step, the error pops up that the sketch is self intersecting and will not allow me to add a pad to the sketch.
Hi Mr.Robert, By default, Catia V5 will be set to export DXF to Graphic. The option used here is also graphic. You need to follow the tutorial the same way I did to achieve the result.Cuz maybe you might have tried to copy the text after saving it as dxf, Instead you need to close that drawing file and open the previously saved dxf file, So that we get the revised version of the text as graphic which could be used for feature editing. You can write to me at catia.pro.user@gmail.com Thank You.

+Tamika Donaldson Analyse your sketch if it has some open loops. If yes, close it. Go to tools sketch analysis to find the openings easily.
How do you accurately position the words? When I use contrain it moves the letters individually, though I want the letters to move together.
