When it comes to people like the one in the last story, it’s not about crimes of opportunity, it’s about the hunt. The longer the pursuit, the more mistakes the prey makes. It’s about the psychological torture.
The last story: some people get a great deal more pleasure out of the chase than the actual capture: they love to torment their prey, revelling in its weakness and their own power, feeding their own ego. Only thing that gets me is: if he was following the man all day, and haunting him all night, when did he ever get the chance to sleep?
Someone like that guy in the forest, if he had homicidal intentions, he's not gonna kill the guy right away. That type of (obviously, I am assuming) serial killer isn't interested in the killing aspect, it's the chase and the thrill of scaring their prey. It's like a cat playing with a mouse before eating it.
Honestly, Idk how I would react to being in that last situation. I'm in a wheelchair, so hiking in the woods is not something I'd enjoy, but after the second time, I'd probably just say, "I've never heard of Bell's Canyon. Can you please come into the light so I can talk to you easier?"
I'm walk with a stick and am visually impaired, so I'd not be hiking much - especially as I'm a fem and - well, one hears things about women going off the beaten path alone. But if I were, I might try, "Come over here and we'll look at Google maps"
the second one was on the show Paranormal Witness and I believe the story was a girl from a local high school died in a car crash on that road, that's why her face was smashed in or hollow.
My earliest memory is some dude breaking into our apartment and my moms and me hiding in a closet waiting for the police to show up while he was trying to knock down the door. Probably what’s wrong with me today.
Unless the girl on the side was exposed to radiation or flesh-eating bacteria, either it's a murderous prank akin to "the strangers" or the mom's eyesight was trash at that time of night.
Damn maybe he should have looked on his map to find Bell's canyon and just hiked there. Like once he got there he'd leave him alone and go frolic and play. 🤷🏿♀️
If i was her i wouldn't of talked to her for awhile. Thats some bs lol. If you want to do it then get out of the car dont roll down the window on my side. Now in the 3rd story i wouldn't go into the damn woods by myself. If i did better believe id have a handgun and a shotgun plus a couple knives.
Into the woods aline is how you die. There's a reason houses are built on clearings, you can see around you. Being the apex predator doesn't mean nothing can kill you.
It seems like a lot of bad things and stories happen when people go either camping or hiking. One thing both activities have in common is the location… the woods/forest. Crazy stuff happens in the woods/forest. Hearing these stories, although I love nature, I can’t go hiking and camping anymore. Lol

Very entertaining! I personally love the woods despite also fearing it. I just accept we don’t know everything so it could be whatever out there, just respect it and be smart. That bells canyon story scares the shit out of me tho 😂 makes me second guess my love for nature
For the two that took place in the woods (mother+daughter, guy hunted by wild man) I think it may have just been anxiety combined with a lack of sleep, ESPECIALLY for the man encountered out in the wilderness. Being able to track someone (who is aware and searching for your presence) over multiple days and pulling all that off? Nah, it sounds like the sleep deprivation and isolation was getting to him. Going out into the woods ALONE without telling anyone where you're going and when you'd be back is unbelievably stupid.
@@extrollacc4587 I'm saying both were out late at night, under duress and people have been known to influence others with their suggestions. As said in the story itself, it is not physically possible for someone to get 3-4 miles ahead of a truck in that short a timeframe. Especially not on a dark country road as they described. Which is why it was most likely not real, and their anxiety led to them glimpsing something and panicking.
@@extrollacc4587 This is possible so I’m not sure this is the serve you think it is. There’s a kind of shared delusion called folie à deux where one person can pass their delusion onto another person. Usually this only happens between family members or a significant other.

I don't know how people don't believe in ghosts even in the Bible it says some people will be trapped on Earth living in torment unable to move on into Judgment Day
See I don't believe in ghost but I believe in spirits and demons see they are two different things a spirit is when someone dies if there soul is not right with God there spirit rums the world just tormenting people where as a demon is another name for the devil's angels see the devil's angels when they mess with people that is because they are on an assignment set by the devil to discourage people but spirits don't get assigned to do anything they just go about tormenting people for no reason
The reason I don't think it was a spirit is because there would be no reason for the spirit to be so averse to having the flashlight shined on them, and if it were a residual haunting of someone trying to find the place, there would have been no acknowledgement of anything the hiker did. The only thing I can think of that would make sense (for people who believe in things science has not fully figured out, such as the paranormal) would be some sort of elemental, a nature spirit. An elemental would be capable of moving around without making sound (because nature ghost) and that would explain why he was never seen during the day and seemingly did not need to eat, drink, or sleep.
The last one. Imagine if on the airplane seat next to him on the way home, a man turned to him and asked: 'Do u know how to get to Bell's Canyon?'
That would be a awesome movie ending
Me: open emergency exit 🫡
Nah he wakes up in his bed room and outside the door he hears that💀

The one in the forrest makes me think it's someone who has something hidden there (maybe he is hiding even) and doesnt want people camping there.

Don't go camping in the middle of the woods without a gun.
Thats what makes america soo great

Not going camping alone without a gun is dumb enough but you don’t tell anyone what your plans are
Are we all just dodging a bullet every time we come home and *don't* find a potentially homicidal weirdo chilling in a blankie on the couch?
i would say the last one could be a skinwalker but a skinwalker can’t physically copy a person body without the smell and visual appearance of decay
Paranormal investigative teams and services REALLY exist. Any situations involving the paranormal should be their department.
For the first story that's why every responsible owner should have a firearm!

Fair enough but how did she travel that far still? Can you explain that as well?
@@JH-Carbon An evil spirit. Fae folk as well. That is the truth.

Bell's Canyon is in Utah. This guy was in Seattle. Ummm.....
Bell's Canyon is a weird place.
It's also in Washington it's just so far away from where the encounter happened.

I live near Mt. Rainier. I camp out here all the time. I hope to never find Bells Canyon. 😮
I love it when you guys dance to the theme song!
Ya just gotta do it Right?
9:12 your roommate must've been Tariq St. Patrick
I'm just wondering if that hiker/camper only experienced that because he replied to that man; if he'd ignored him, would anything have happened? 🤔

Mountain men are real you gotta bring a gun when camping in primitive areas. Those dudes are messed up from years of social isolation
Do you know how to get to Bells Canyon?
Im from near Live Oak Florida. That entire region of North Florida/South Georgia is meth and crime infested. Safest to stay on the main roads.

A knife and scissors to pick a lock? Not a very convenient or easy way to do it.
15 miles shouldn’t take you 2-3 days
Skin walker.. the last one was a skinwalker
React to a man hid in a Maine forest for 27 years
I decided to look it up, and Bell Canyon *_is_* a real place, but it's in California. The guy was camping in Washington state, right?
Considering it was taking him so much longer to get back to his car than it did to head out in his hiking, maybe he ended up in California.
