Would it be possible for Stihl to create a battery that lasts longer for the same device? I have the saw and I am very happy with it, but yeah if there would be a better battery in the future would be a game changer. I hope someone from Stihl reads my and others peoples comments about the battery and try to do something about. Thank you

Works great, does about 60 2-4" cuts on 1 battery so far. I have 2 batteries. Wish it had an auto oiler

Is there a substitute for the oil you're pre-lubricating the chain with?

We recommend the BioPlus™ but any STIHL bar and chain oil will work. Thanks for asking!

Never mind.... I was hesitant to tug the guide bar. Mine had some debris jamming it. But it popped off without breaking

Bought one a couple of weeks ago, really nice except won’t last for more than 10/15 mins of cutting. Overpriced for additional battery, 60 bucks for another 10/15 mins is just too much

I came up with a brilliant idea that could possibly revolutionize the outdoor power equipment industry. Pretty much everyone knows about hybrid gas/electric cars. So, how can that be implemented to outdoor power equipment, such as lawnmowers, string trimmers, blowers, etc.? If by possibly combining gas and electric power into one unit, you could get plenty of power, and efficiency all in one. This idea came up when I accidentally said electric gas powered blowers. I rethought it and I said, "yeah, that's a great idea!". That way you can use electric for lighter duty tasks, then switch to gas for tasks that require extra power. I really think that this idea will absolutely revolutionize the outdoor power equipment industry, and I really look forward to seeing it be done.

Better than a set of loppers or pruners, i have one and its perfect to cut limbs for the back yard fire . Not a toy, but also not a top handle either.

Chinese things look good but are shit. This thing is the opposite of Chinese. Very substantial in the hand
