Thank GOD Nigerians are speaking out against GMO. Nigerians farmers should be educated about GMO so they'll reject everything GMO collectively. GMO rejection in Nigerian should be sustained INDEFINITELY.
There's one agency headed by a woman who instead of regulating the industry, they turned round to be using government funding for advocacy of those inorganic BS. I have said this before, Nigeria is an agricultural country that doesn't need much foreign inputs. We have adequate scientific and agricultural institutions that could lead innovations in the food we consume. What we need badly is not GMOs but rather the mass cultivation of our existing grains, fruits and vegetables. We need mechanised farms, farm equipment and the governance/entrepreneurial willpower to go into industrial agriculture. Not all that GMO rubbish.
Failed state rather than tackling the root causes of the problem, the government is looking for alternatives that are detrimental to lifes of the people
It's not the Ilu. It's the ignorance, gullibility and greed of the people. Farmers like the people are all concerned about the profit at all costs. Simple.
Well done guys thanks for coming out to protest❤😢❤

I support complete ban of GMOs.
