Went on this trail recently but turned back at the start of the gravel.As I have a racing bike Ifelt it best to turn back.From an earlier ride many years ago it was a rough ride to the end at Carrum.Looked a bit better these days.Maybe I will try it.Thanks again Sepp!
I used to ride from the Abby Walk bridge (Vermont) to Bayswater and back (only this section for 3 years). Thanks to the lockdown, I discovered this track and many others. It took me 3 attempts over 3 weekends to ride up the Eastlink hill from Burwood highway to High St Rd. But now I can ride all the way to Dandenong and back. 12:51 do people have to stand on the bridge or in the middle of the track to talk ? Love all your videos, they gave me an idea of the what the tracks are like before I give it a try. Thanks
Love your vid.. Travel along there from time to time.. Disappointing that they can't resurface from end of Eastlink to Carrum.. That stony/gravel rd is trash during the wet season..It's quite slippery, and dangerous for road bikes.
Yes.. it's a pity they didn't take the opportunity to upgrade the last segments when they closed the track for works on the sewer system south of Dandenong in November.....

Wondering what tyres and rims he's running. Not sure the 25 road tyres I use would like the unmade sections.
