The M3 looks like a pretty cool road. I've always really liked some of the coloured acrylic sound barriers that seem to be common on some Australian motorways. They have a cool and modern vibe. Nice work on the video.
Back in year 2000s my dad drives on Punt Road and I was very curious about the Fwy but we never entered until around year 2005 finally entered before Eastlink did not exist.
I like the soundtrack of this video and it also includes "Blinding Lights" and "Levitating" which are theoretically the #1 songs of 2020 and 2021, respectively, well in North America. Those song are part of my high school days.
Great Drive! Looking forward to you doing the M11 Mornington Peninsula Freeway when you get the time since they just opened a new part of it last year from Dingley Bypass to Springvale Rd.
What if you did weirder paths like - A300/B300 Lilydale to Benalla to Geelong - SH40 Edithvale to Altona - TD2 Warrandyte to Williamstown - B110 Geelong to Queenscliffe and South Melbourne to Portsea
Awesome drive and great to see you down in Melbourne! The M1 interchange is quite impressive seen from EastLink, but doesn't beat the M4 at M7 interchange in Sydney in my opinion! That being said, EastLink is sort of what the M7 should have been; 3 lanes each way! :D
Thanks mate! Yes, the M4/M7 Light Horse Interchange is actually the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. However, Melbourne does have much more interchanges between motorways than Sydney.
Coincidentally, the M3 is called "EastLink" and the M7 is called "WestLink" Im saying this cause the M3 is the better M7 and both motorways are Link motorways lol
You didn't mention - Eastern Freeway used to be part of route 83 (literally Freeway 83) until Eastlink was built - Frankston Freeway and most of the Mooroduc Highway used to be part of route 11 until Peninsula Link was built (which is also a tollway of sorts), then the C777 ring to Flinders was extended back to the M3 and the C787 was extended further down the M11
Great drive! How would you compare Baltimore-Washington Parkway (Maryland Route 295) to Majura Parkway (M23)? Here's the full drive: th-cam.com/video/a44ITxrQk_0/w-d-xo.html
Thanks, from what I've heard the Baltimore-Washington Parkway was specifically designed to give drivers an enjoyed and scenic drive, especially when compared to the parallel I-95. It has to be one of the more beautiful expressways in the world.

Love the sound track, this looks very fun to drive toward CBD at night! Great stuff, another reason to want to visit in a few years

Nice images of the city! Greetings from Mallorca Spain! Like 👍
Great video! M3 looks awesome and pretty cool to ride.

Thank you! My M11 video (including of the new extension) will be coming very soon!
I love this I want to visit Melbounre some day
love to see you covering melbourne ! would be nice to see you covering the freeways to melbourne's north in the future, the visuals are great
Thanks mate! And I've got lots of Melbourne content coming up so you won't be disappointed 😁
Finally Melbourne!! Great video
Would be great if you covered the M2 till the airport. Great job I love yous travels 👍
I thought when you said it was a 5 lane each way freeway that it would stay like that. It went to 3 lanes pretty quick 😅
What if you did weirder paths like

Hey, you did it mate👍

Roads in sydney look like complete poop compared to melbourne, Melbourne roads are so wide
Impressive.
Fun fact: In 3:55 there is a huge plot of empty land on the opposite side of the road. This is because of an unbuilt freeway
Very interesting, would love to hear more about this!
Thanks for sharing, that was one of the best driving videos I have seen. Which editing software you use to get those gorgeous captions in? wow
Thank you! the captions were made in Photoshop then edited in using Premiere Pro.
@@GreatAussieDrives thanks for that..clearly you get for what you paid for.
As it turns out, the Eastern Hwy (1.2 km) is shorter than the Chandler Hwy (1.5 km)
Awesome
Just remember to keep your doors locked when driving through Frankston, especially near the railway station😉
Hahaha thanks, yeah Frankston was a little bit rough around the edges but it wasn't that bad, I enjoyed my time there.
@@GreatAussieDrives yeah there's a 12 year old eshay that apparently owns frankston watch out
When are you gonna do the b100 great ocean road/surf coast hwy video?
It has already been recorded as part of my Melbourne trip last year, I hope to have it edited and uploaded in due time!
You should make a video driving on the amazing Toowoomba Bypass!
That's on the list when I revisit Brisbane haha. I did a Toowoomba city to Brisbane CBD video but unfortunately that route didn't include the bypass
@@GreatAussieDrives Haha! What would you think would be a good route that would include the bypass?
Thanks! Very well informative video ...
An odd appearance of exit numbers at 14:23... and the only one from what I can tell?
Yeah they were the only exit numbers I saw on the M3.
If I may ask, did you travel to Mornington Peninsula?
Yes! I also filmed the Mornington Peninsula Freeway, the footage of which will be uploaded in due time 😁
A fact the M80 ring road is going to be built soon
How do you find most of your infomation?
Mostly just through Google
can we go to Liverpool NSWv ?
I'm actually editing a Liverpool video right now, will be released soon (probably the video after next) 😉
