Not going into great detail, back in the day, games were released affordable and in working condition. Without weekly or monthling patching needed (99% of the time). Then came the great IBM PS1 and the like, that brought in sound cards and video cars from other companies and more complicated games. Still patching was small and often just was tweaking to the game for better balance. Now we come to today, were games are released 75% of the time in what I feel is a beta, looking for the users to do the QA testing so that a year or more from release they can have a properly working title. Some games like Flight Simulator and the Sims will cost you over $1214 (Currently for the Sims 4 and DLC) for the game with all it's addon's to make it complete. I honestly can't condone piracy when the companies make games that are both unfinished and or, out of the price range of the average consumer. I don't pirate, I just don't buy junk anymore and keep replaying the old stuff that actually works. Or wait 2-3 years for the game to be $9. lol
Yes. I hope there is nothing wrong with the Empress and that she is well. And I'm saying this not because I'm waiting for him to come back to break games, but because I really hope he's okay. To be honest, I fell in love with him.
So, we're buying their game with a useless software that's not only taking up space but constantly stressing our hardware which could potentially reduce the life of our hardware. I wish I knew this before purchasing Witcher, no wonder the performance is worse when you compare it with other games with equally good graphics.
When I had played For Honor for a while, it just suddenly slowed down the PC randomly into an unusable slideshow. Despite not having any file that relates to the game except for itself.

@@benberken6806 and you lick boots for a living. Fun fact. I own RDR2 on Steam and Xbox. You need to go back in time and realise how DRM hurts the consumers of games, tv and movies and music. Yakuza Like a Dragon: Infinite wealth could've been a great release without Denuvo, but considering sega handled the performance for PC handsomely with Denuvo, I think it is a good tool when in right hands (If we exclude Steam Deck ofcourse...Denuvo ruins that one). I don't really mind DRM But right now They need to begone Because Most of the games Right now Was releasing are Fuqed up unoptimization and then they add denuvo Well Thats fuqed up the unoptimization more.
I Think Denuvo is more fucking with the games than protecting. Like, it tooks more to crack? Yes, but, i will buy a game that will not run in my PC even when my hardware is powerfull enough to handle it? No, i will just buy if one day the game become optmized. And this is the problem with Denuvo, people just care about the money and don't realise that their shots are returning to themselfs, people just buy their games because there is no crack, and when the crack releases the purchases fall as hell, and just get back to normal when the game optmizes...
If a game has Denuvo, I won't buy it. (I won't even bother to pirate it - the game simply becomes irrelevant to me.) Requiring an internet connection to play a single player game is unacceptable. If people stopped putting up with this and refused to buy these games, Denuvo would go away. Unfortunately, far too many gamers are so hooked on certain franchises that they will swallow whatever crap the industry shoves down their throats. Gamers dutifully burn their money on microtransactions, pre-order games that will probably be broken at launch, and buy games that will stop working if the servers go down. The solution is simple. If you hate these things, stop supporting them with your money.
Nearly every AAA game in recent years is garbage anyway, so the fact that they're infected with Denuvo is a moot point. Literally, who cares? I'll stick to indie titles, thanks. They're more innovative, more imaginative, and more fun, and almost never infested with DRM. They're also typically so cheap that the idea of "pirating" them is just silly. Just wait for a Steam sale, and you can stuff your Steam library until its bursting at the seams, for pennies, with more games than you will ever have time to play anyway. And unlike AAA garbage, you might actually enjoy them. I always find it amusing that the things people go furthest to protect, are usually the things that are most worthless.
indie games are running the industry while AAA is going down FOR SURE. it’s just sad to think that if these billions of dollars spent on AAA were given to these indie developers, they could be making revolutionary titles for all of the world to see with amazing marketing.

I just don't understand how stupid the people must be to buy Denuvo and install it. There are three types of people who will pirate. 1. People who don't have enough money to afford a game 2. People who don't consider the game worth its money 3. People who straight up won't touch the game unless it's free Two of those are literally impossible to make customers out of because they just won't buy your game no matter what and the third speaks more about the game being shitty in which case it's not even pirating that should be a concern for the profit. The worst thing is, in this stupid imagined scenario where they think those three will buy their game, they make the product worse for those who actually are supporting their business. I am all for author and selling rights, but this is stupid even from business perspective.

@@confessioncritic Yep plus the notion of these big AAA companies saying piracy is bad is just dumb... it gives more exposure to their games, people who grew up in countries that arent first world or like poor kids downloaded pirated games but companies just care of the short term money. if they allow piracy or just make it a bit more lenient the industry will be at a peak with great ass titles, old games being revived, Indie scene growing exponentially, streaming and esports growing, and no ultra strict anti piracy so every one can have an opportunity to play their game would be amazing
@@ronyeeto5068 yes, if only the world didn't care when someone stole their product they worked hard for. Damn them. Dude, get a job and pay for the damn game. Good video but I do feel it kinda mixed up the history of Denuvo cracking with the 'why denuvo is bad', which got kinda glanced over in a few words

I haven’t bought mk1 on steam deck because of denuvo
i hate that she still gets called the pirate queen... thats like calling the best modern day somali pirate the greatest ever when Blackbeard was a thing.
gabe and steam killed the golden age of game piracy. and ironically the second he dies and steam goes public traded and becomes crap like Uplay or something, well see a new golden age of game piracy, and the priate banner will probably have gabes face on it.
wrong. pirating is as strong as ever.
@@bojcio kid, if you think piracy of video games is even remotely as widespread as it was before the age of steam you dont know anything about internet piracy. back then if you played video games on pc, you were a pirate and half (often more) of your games were pirated copies, period end of story. literally everyone was sailing the high seas. since that number today is not nearly 100% its not even close lol. sure tv and movie piracy never went anywhere, took a dive during peak netflix era, but its back better than ever thanks to the million different garbage streaming sites(though it did take a hit last week because of a treaty between Togo and Australia) video game piracy though... thanks to steam existing it remains niche at best. aside from some people who really really hate drm and easy-anti-cheat, most gamers do not pirate.
She's the only one to be able to crack denuvo. If that Somali pirate is the only one who can get the treasure people want then yeah probably the pirate queen. No one said GOAT.
@@panikk2 shes not the only one, she was just first on the scene, and considering the competition these days is like only 12 other people, beating the other 11 to the finish line isnt an accomplishment worth royalty.
This was a nice clean informative video well done!
1:31 can i please get the link for that link?
one of my two huge gripes with some of these drm are to do with it hogging up performance (which some say it doesn’t anymore but can’t be sure), but my other big gripe which no one can refute is that is will so,etc,es prohibit me from playing a game i paid for and wish to play offline. something which should be well within my right to do so
all i want is a game i can play offline and is also not taking any more of my performance than is actually required
I'm more than happy to pirate games. Not because I don't like paying, but I hate DRM so much.
admit it it has nothing to do with denuvo ur just broke and tryna justify piracy
I have many old PCs. All of them are full to the brim of pirated games. I pirated games since I was 8 years old. Empress is my Queen.
Sir, i need a 5 hour long video of pirate lore pls
Payday 3 had a prelaunch update that was just. "We removed denuvo. Hope to see you in game. Happy heisting -strbz almir" parafraced (almir is head dev) had to look up what denuvo was cool vid thanks
Or wait 2-3 years for the game to be $9. lol
Well... EMPRESS is missing for some time now.
Yes. I hope there is nothing wrong with the Empress and that she is well. And I'm saying this not because I'm waiting for him to come back to break games, but because I really hope he's okay. To be honest, I fell in love with him.

I think denuvo is fine until the game is cracked, expecting big corporations to willingly have their game cracked on release day is absurd
expecting small minimum wage teens to buy a lambo just to play some decade old game is the real absurd thing here
Currently i NEED to pirate some of the games because im live in Russia
Hi-Fi Rush also has Denuvo but sadly no one on TH-cam has pointed this out yet.
Damn thats unfortunate
So, we're buying their game with a useless software that's not only taking up space but constantly stressing our hardware which could potentially reduce the life of our hardware. I wish I knew this before purchasing Witcher, no wonder the performance is worse when you compare it with other games with equally good graphics.
Always check that steam page around where it lists controller support, more games have it nowadays
Empress is a guy by the way.
Obviously... I was wondering why no one made the connection that just because someone is called "Empress" doesn't imply they are a woman
When I had played For Honor for a while, it just suddenly slowed down the PC randomly into an unusable slideshow. Despite not having any file that relates to the game except for itself.
I don't play/buy any game with Denuvo as denuvo will undoubtedly be extra cost for the product that I am buying, I am hell not going to pay for things that I don't need/want/work against me.
What's the game @6:20?
Minecraft
Monster hunter i guess
Wildhearts

4:03 I love when you guys say the pirating community in general lol, if you mean the people that get shit for free you might be right, but the pirates? lol they are chinese eastern european or even middle eastern none of them care about lgbt.
Hopefully they are not going to do the same thing to GTA 6
I'm currently playing Red Dead Redemption 2 cracked version for some reason it crashes every 10 minutes or 15 and I am blaming dinovo
hopefully not but i would not put it behind them at all
They will and it will be a glorious battle of the pirates vs the corporation. Denuvo may be so advanced by the time it releases that the crackers may not be able to win and we may see the dawn of a new era 😢
You have a crappy version. Look for an update or newer release. Maybe even lookup rdr2 empress fix.
People hacking the game is the reason for Denuvo, so you and the people like you created this problem. Get a job and pay for games you like.
@@benberken6806 and you lick boots for a living. Fun fact. I own RDR2 on Steam and Xbox. You need to go back in time and realise how DRM hurts the consumers of games, tv and movies and music. I love games having denuvo , because now i know what not to buy without breaking a sweat

Yo background music is too loud
Yakuza Like a Dragon: Infinite wealth could've been a great release without Denuvo, but considering sega handled the performance for PC handsomely with Denuvo, I think it is a good tool when in right hands (If we exclude Steam Deck ofcourse...Denuvo ruins that one).
Otherwise, if MOST AAA industries use it then people (especially Denuvo stans) shouldn't be surprised it gets such great backlash.
If you are new to both piracy and anti-piracy measures then don't higher anyone to apply Denuvo to your game. It is like using smartphones to only watch TikTok.
It's not that I approves of pirating games, denuvo just sometimes slows the game down, I use an old gaming laptop some games tales 2-3 min of loading but games with denuvo takes 5-7 min loading time worse 11 min, I tested it on a GOG game and a Steam game ver. of cyberpunk and the GOG run faster and I can keep the file on a external hard drive to install whenever I want to keep my laptop storage free, It's sucks that I have to buy the game 2 times just to play a faster version of the game
This was the same with NFS Rivals on PC. I noticed the pirated version loaded at least 5-10 seconds quicker than EA's official version.
Black Myth: Wukong, sadly use a DRM i was hyped for the game but i realy dont going to download it ore buy. litterly downloading it will downgrade litterly every game you use -5 - 50 fps even on RTX4090
My comment is: The music was loud. Thank you.
How to make your good video great: lower the background music at it's sometimes too loud and makes it hatd to hear your voice plus pls cut all the unnecessary noise that makes us just want to stop the video. Otherwise good.
Thanks for the feedback! yeah still working on sound mixing and stuff of that sort!
if a game needs a server to validate against anyone should be allowed to sue the publisher for damages the server goes down like they sue you.
damages done on lifetime bases. like i have 50 years left on average. of that 50 years (432.000 hours) i could play the game for 259.000 hours ( reducted by 1/3 for sleep, eat). i want those house in not able to play the game compensated.

Which means a title's performance relies completely on whether the company behind it whines about pirating more than actually working on it or not.
funny and informative video. i was dying 😂😂😂
Hahhahah glad you liked it!!!! 😂❤️❤️❤️
i like your voice bro. where u at ?
Thank you for the support!!!!! New content Soon, promise
@@confessioncriticIt would be like cure for cancer for us gamers. Yet, like most cures for cancer, someone up in the "food chain" leaves us nothing but expensive trash medicine whilst taking away the real vitamins...it is intoxicating at this point!

There's no need for a drm if you stop pirating software. There, problem solved.
Their IQ is too low to understand this
If the software is good I would buy it, if not, I wouldn't lose anything I did pirate it , hope this changes your mind
many recent DRM-protected titles are not even worth mentioning.
Very true, it’s almost as if the developers who put DRM software care less about quality and more about money 🤔
i mean you said youd tell us what denuvo is exactly and then you say the broadest shit known to man kind
Hope FITGIRL CRÀCK GTA VI
she doesn't crack any games, she download cracked games and compression it.That's it
existence of pirates is why denuvo exists. This is your punishment and a deserved one.
I just don't understand how stupid the people must be to buy Denuvo and install it.
There are three types of people who will pirate.
1. People who don't have enough money to afford a game
2. People who don't consider the game worth its money
3. People who straight up won't touch the game unless it's free
Two of those are literally impossible to make customers out of because they just won't buy your game no matter what and the third speaks more about the game being shitty in which case it's not even pirating that should be a concern for the profit.
The worst thing is, in this stupid imagined scenario where they think those three will buy their game, they make the product worse for those who actually are supporting their business. I am all for author and selling rights, but this is stupid even from business perspective.

they should just make a game worth buying if they hate pirates
