- Arrma Felony Off Road conversion using Talion front and rear suspension. Notorious Front shock tower and Talion Rear shock tower. Mojave rear socks on the rear and Talion Rear shocks on the front. Duratrax Lockup 1:8 scale buggy tires. How will this drive off-road and on-road?

Yes I do like those duratrax tires I got them on my rc8.2e their pretty versatile... Still imagining all those other tire wheel options for your build... If that body can just come down or fill in the lower air gap itll be even nicer lol,,,, Great vid man love the enthusiasm.

looks more fun than the original car 👍🍺. Great modification.
Dunno...not much beats shredding tires in a parking lot for a couple of hours with no risk of being arrested. My bashers get attention, but NOTHING gets people's attention like a bright orange rc car that goes faster sideways than most of them drive on a given day. This build could use a much beefier servo to deal with the wider track width, taller tires, and grass.

Myself I use the Arrma Notorious 6S Blk. I had done what you had and me 5 days’ worth and only one thing came off was a front bumper, two screws went away, I had more screws. I repaired that one bumper; I had than added another type front bumper. I have parts, but never used but one clip… Arrma rigs I have also is the Granite, I made some changes for a better Brushless motor and new Servo as well a new Transmitter. The original were fine, only a fire from a motor cable in with drive, not good… Thanks!

I’ve done this same thing with the kraton diffs arms and suspension, and I run proline trenchers and a 8s system spektrum 160a and Hobbywing 1100kv motor

I am confused and unable to make decision between Felony Vs Infraction.
Felony looks so awesome and tempting but has rear tires and different differentials whereas Infraction is same platform all rounder with okish looks.

If I wanted to do this and run a monster truck body of some sort, I could probably do away with the felony body mounts and bumpers correct? I've seen people convert the limitless.to a stretched kraton and I'm assuming the felony is close in comparison with the limitless.
If I am not mistaken, they may run the same chassis. Need taller body mounts to run a monster truck body, I believe.

@@moerc honestly I'm addicted to RC I have bought way too many 😜 but yeah all terrain is available to me I live in the land downunder and am at the point of thinking before I buy lol it was the axial ryft that pulled my silly spending up I only got half way through the lipo before it started to be a money pit and have also heard that the lasernut might need some more investigation and the other being parts availability it can take months to get which may also be covid at fault but it's so annoying having such an expensive RC turn into a shelf monstrosity 💸 I have really taken to your driving you have so much passion and can tell you love what you do thanks my friend for reading and always making people happy 😁👍🤝✌️

As for the Lasernut? I have broken 4 front right turnbuckles and a drive shaft. Parts avail is spotty depending on what you need to replace. eBay is a good source but not sure how that will work you in Aus.
Good price range for 4s and what you get. However, if you want to jump it more often while running it, beware. It can take a beaten but I feel it is susceptible to bending/breakage. As any RC is, but you have watched me beat the living hell out of some other Rigs.
This is on the lower side of durability for my style of driving. I have not had any diff issues like others have. Pretty much broke all parts on it in the winter, that is when I got mine. So the cold maybe effected the turnbuckles.
Cost of the Lasernut plus parts replacement could put you in a different price range on an RC that may have more durability and better overall performance.

You should've set it up to have the rear overdrive the front a tiny bit until your perfectly matched gear set came in. Would've had less understeer and front lift, I think.

Boil the tires to get them off then Gorilla tape the inside of the tire then touch up the tape and seal with Gorilla Impact glue to stop that ballooning completely. I blew out two sets within a week and with the Gorilla method Ive run them to the tape without it popping. Typhon 6s.
In 3 months Armma will release an off road felony 😊

That is a good question, I think it will be very close. U may be able to clear the body with out hitting it if the wheels turn. Height wise it will be close too.

What pinion and how hot did motor get
16t pinion and 20t pinion on the front side of the run. Did not have a temp gun, but with the 20t the esc cut off.
If you want it even wider use Kraton axles. They're about 5mm longer than the Talion ones. Get some Just Bash It (www.justbashit.com) hex extenders. They make different lengths up to 23mm extended. That thing would be EXTRA special with the wheels popping out as far as you can get them!!!! Oh yeah... put some Talion Katars on that thing...or even some BELTED ProLine MX28s!!! She'd be smoking!!! LOL Great job...I love it when people take the stock Arrmas and make them their own. That's amazing!!!

Also, with the felony setup as a drift racer, it goes through tires like every 3 battery packs. I also have a talion that I have converted to a buggy setup. One thing I love about Arrma rcs is they are interchangeable!
