This is like the heaviest album ever. I grew up on this around age 5 or 6. Todd chords (2/1, 4/1) seemed SOOO out there initially but I got used to them and just accepted it as Todd's personal language.. how many artists can claim that? Like, beyond style.. a whole different vocabulary.. He is magic and so is this album. Healing pt 1,2, 3 are genius. But you can't leave out the rest! It's ALL AMAZING. You need something more meaningful in your life beyond the latest day to day bs? Todd can help. Try it, you'll like it.
It's great that someone put this entire suite out here to be enjoyed in its entirety. Must be the remaster because the background instruments tend to sound louder than the vocal. Which isn't the case with the original mix so much for remastering

Todd is like a modern day Bach, Mozart...and we have His Music by him recorded for the future, the interpretations by others of past masters is fantastic, but not comparable to what Todd is doing here and now

I was in Akron for the premiere of the "Todd"/"Healing" tour of 2010, a double bill. It was everything I was hoping for. Stellar performances and the audience/tribe were in essence part of the band that night. The DVD captures it pretty well.
This is beautiful with the 80s inspired graphics, it looks exactly how Todd would have done it. And of course, the song provides a much needed dose of inner peace.
This has the thickest, most satisfying synth drum sound I've ever heard. That snare in part 1 is so creamy. I had no idea a snare could even sound creamy.
The vid you are talking about is no longer on youtube. The channel was called "The Church of Yoshi". I followed him for years, and he created that Todd Rundgren "Healing" video FOR ME! I requested that he do a vid to that suite, and what he created became a frequently-watched video for me. His channel was taken down by youtube. It breaks my heart, his vids were so good! And I really miss his "Healing" video. It was special to me, and I used it for meditation and healing so often. I was very pleased to find this video!
