Ian is a class above, first met him 38 years ago, when he was still a true privateer, retired at Windy corner in practice, I was marshalling , stayed with his bike till his lads came and collected it, after practice, got invited for a beer back in the paddock…great days , great rider…..👍😉🇮🇲

Ian, Laylaw, ILR, and Frog Development…100% class! This is exactly what our sport is all about.

I watched his debut race from Hillberry. Ian Lougher, Robert Dunlop and Steve Hislop in the newcomers race, brilliant. Steve stayed in the same hotel as me and my mates, The Doric, in Douglas. Great memories.

As someone who has only recently come to be a fan of the mountain circuit, having this kind of thing to understand and appreciate it's history is just wonderful.
    Beautifully produced. 🧡

      Except for the shite "music".

He looks just as smooth and stylish on a bike!

I agree that i would really appreciate some parts with no music in the background. Better for building up emotions with the motor sound.
I am not strictly against music, but not the whole time

Lovely to see Ian being interviewed and great on bike footage too. But...
Will the spotty oik who thinks we need the shite "music" accompanying the footage kindly bugger off back to making adverts for EVs (or whatever rubbish they normally do) and let us hear the bikes. For goodness sake, Duke Video stopped it in the 1990s. Why are you doing it?
