I am about to replace my cork gasket on my CJ2A. It was leaking gas. I was surprised you didn’t use gasket sealer. Is that unnecessary with a cork gasket. Also would it be a good idea to clean the tank where the gasket goes on with steel wool or sand paper? Nice video!
The original gasket on mine didn't appear to have had sealant, thus why I installed it dry. I had this off before this video when I painted the tank, so the area was already cleaned with a rag and lacquer thinner. Thanks for watching!
My 1954 Willys CJ-3B has a Chevy Luv Truck tank and fuel tank fuel sending unit. It wasn’t easy to find the right sensor. I purchased two wrong sensors before I found the correct sensor.

Hi. What gauge wiring did you use for this install
The wire was part of the after market wire harness I used. I believe it is 14 gauge.
