Mt Fuji - The Best Time to Climb

Mt Fuji is Japan's highest mountain at 12,389 ft (3776 meters). Hiking to the summit of Mt Fuji is an amazing experience I would highly recommend. May is off season - please do not go because all deaths on Mt Fuji occur during the off-season when they don’t allow climbing

I did a lot of research on this since I went in May. There weren't many guides available at that time, so I went with Kanto Adventures. www.kantoadventures.com/ If you're going in the summer, there's no need for a guide. Just need to catch the bus or train out there from Tokyo.
