That's amazing! What date did you go exactly? Trying to plan the hike now and the last thing I would want is to be told we can't go the summit when we are half way ( read some reviews) :)
AWESOME REVIEW! Thanks for all the information - I'm planning an off-season spring climb as well. What time of day did yall start? It looks very bright at the beginning of the video....did starting that late cause any risk of rockfall or avalanche that you witnessed?
I did a lot of research on this since I went in May. There weren't many guides available at that time, so I went with Kanto Adventures. www.kantoadventures.com/ If you're going in the summer, there's no need for a guide. Just need to catch the bus or train out there from Tokyo.
Have climbed it twice and the summer assent is a piece of cake, not difficult at all.
I had climbed up to the top 20 yrs ago during summer. Wish I could experience during winter too...
Great climbing with you Matt, and fantastic video!
Thanks Oscar!

This is fantastic! I subscribed to both you and Oscar, and I’ve emailed David as My life’s mission is to Snowboard down Mt. Fuji THIS YEAR!!
Update: i’m going tomorrow with David and I featured on BBC Radio 2 to the entire country announcing my adventure! 😁🤟

o pls weather gods, let there be gentle winds first week of march this year. gonna do a full send from gotemba 5th station in span of 3 days
Nice guys. @8:17 but why the guy with headband insist holding (a camera?) in such condition?
May is off season - please do not go because all deaths on Mt Fuji occur during the off-season when they don’t allow climbing
Another great video from you. Thanks.
Nice video! Love it! My congratulations
Great because no people, but I just think it's not as fun during day time. the sunset factor really is something to go for I think
hey, does someone know which paths they take in the video?
Is it legal to climb this without a guide?
Thank you for this video!!
You are tired!?, but a nice smile!
Great video !
Where would I have to look to find a guide to go up with?

Thanks for the reply man !
I am going to be going between March 21st and 29th and have read the conditions are still quite dangerous at this time.
I’m going in July, do you think that’s a pretty good time to go? As in crowds
No
It’s right next the suicide Forrest
Boy did he not know what was coming in 2020
Nonbiri ikouze, oi
you didnt wear crampons?
oh you did haha
Nice, thoe it seems more as a pure hiking trip then climbing.
It was dangerous to climb in winter season. if you fall down this steep , you can never live .
