Today is Dec. 29, 2023, new warnings are being posted about this tick. As l searched for more info, I was brought me to this seminar. Now that most pet dogs live mostly indoors, who are walked in the community, go to dog parks or doggie day care, then sleep with, or allow their kids to sleep with dogs, are putting themselves at high risk for being bitten and infected by these ticks.
