Just keep practicing the app my friend the actual test is alot easier than it is on the app. Maybe try doing the two click method or 3 click method that should help you alot so even if your early on the first click the second or third click would get the 5 or lower just try not to click to close or in a pattern good look my friend I hope you pass when you eventually do your test

Right, the moment the hazard appears you should be able to get 5 points. They need to sort some of those clips out. I got 0/5 on the first few clips I watched when practicing for this reason.
Passed my hazard at 66, the three click method is good, I even did a 5 clicker in the exam too because the hazard was so stretched out. I expected the computer to explode or me get jumped on by a swat team for clicking too much but its more lenient than you might think, don't be too afraid.

@@niknkson generally speaking there's only 1 hazard per video, 1 may have 2 in 1 video. But essentially like the video and I am trying to say is, generally you're going to be clicking when you see a hazard (you will not get marked for this) because you're just clicking on things that may or may not be a hazard, it's just a potential hazard. Only when the hazard starts to develop, in other words when the car in the video slows down, moves out the way, stops then you know that was the hazard. So every video pretty much the camera is you in a car, when the camera comes to a stop or slows down very suddenly thats when your videos hazard took place, so do a 3 click method on that hazard. Clicking when the video slows down or stops will usually be too late and will net you about 1 to 2 points, but it's better than 0, but for most videos you will definitely need 4 or 5 points. The best advice is to go on the driving lessons 4 in 1 app and keep doing hazard perception mock tests.
@@niknkson the best advice is don't bother doing practice videos all day, throw yourself in the deep end and do mock tests every single time, because that's what we end up doing in the end anyway, same goes for theory, I didn't do many practice questions, I did mocks and mocks and mocks. Then on hazard of course do the 3 click method, during the video click on pretty much most of the potential hazards, then as soon as you see that hazard start to become something (developing hazard) click again, and the 3rd click can either be a safety click just for good measure or you can click when the camera slows down or stops (because the camera in the hazard perception video is actually in a car so you are the camera) if you can, you can even rewatch this TH-cam video up above and make huge sense of it if you can, this 3 click method is actually really good I experimented with it a lot and it creates a mini red flag net, where you will always score points due to how its spreads out, so even if you miss timing on the 5 pointer you can a lot of the time at least get 3 points

0 out of 6 in my test for HGV hazard passed the other tests but this Hazard perception test is shit, failed it even though I saw all hazards way before it happened. It's so unreliable.
I failed my LGV perception I got 57, I watched this video and the week after I got 84 and was very confident doing it, well done Lauren this video made me pass.
I used this app for about a month and it definitely helped had my theory yesterday and passed first time with 49/50 on multiple choice and 72/75 on hazard perception I never expected to do so good onit people go on like it's really hard.. it really isnt abit of practice and everyone could nail it first time
You're right the app practice for HP is harder than the actual test. FYI. After trying the HP practice I got very nervous I'd fail. If you don't click the millisecond they want you to, you lose marks. The flaw with this test is alert (young or old) and experienced drivers can spot potential hazards from further away (jogger, bicycle, road works, etc) and will click even earler, so when I clicked It might have been a millisecond too early at times. Anyway I still managed to pass my actual test. Thanks for this helpful video.

Why are there real life clips on the hazard perception mock test? Because it says the real life clips help you to prepare you for real world driving and all actual test clips are CGI? Am I not wasting my time doing the mock test if the majority of clips on it are real life clips and not CGI??
Passed my theory failed my hazard and perception by 4 points when doing you're theory test their isn't any mouse cursor and I was getting confused on what part of the mouse to click left or right of the mouse so I clicked both anyone got any tips? Is it right or left ?

I’d like to know if you are made aware that you will have 2 hazards in the clip. I have an app for practice and before i start the test it will either show a potential score of 0-5 or 0-10, which gives me an indication of what to expect. Will this be the same on the test day? Listen if you want to past your driving theory all you have to do is study the mock test consistently. Once you do this the question will get familiar with you & you will know the answer of my head , make sure when you get an answer wrong you revise it so the next time you come across it you will know the answer of by head . Do this method like 15 times in a row without fail that will assure you that you are ready for the main test & I promise you will pass ! ..... I passed my theory today Thanks to God remember “greatness is obsession “ thank me later ..... no need for luck if you follow this method you will pass first time like I did .
We do not advise clicking 15 times in a row as that is a clicking repeatedly & in a pattern (which may be flagged by the cheat detectors). Congratulations on the pass.
My test is need week and I’m so unprepared I keep trying but every mock I fail and I don’t know to do it next week by keep studying or just move it to January Update: I failed got 38/50 and 56/70 (yes I cried lol) Rebooked for February as that’s the latest date but I’m much more hopeful 🥳
Only take it when you feel ready. If you're stressed when taking the test your nerves will get the better of you and you won't be able to concentrate. If you're using the Theory 4 in 1 app mentioned in the video then you can change the settings in the questions so you'll only see questions that you haven't seen before or questions that you previously answered incorrectly. It's a really good app but hazard perception is tricky. Good luck hope you do well :)

Did you try the 3 click method? That's why we advise the third click to make sure if you have clicked a lil early that you still get in the scoring window :)
I’ve got my theory test coming up in a couple of days and When I see a hazard I click once then leave a 1 second time gap and click it again so on is that a pattern?
Click at the point you see a potential hazard, again if it becomes a developing hazard and again for the safety click. There's no specific time in between, its just as and when (and if) they happen :)

49 out of 50 on m’bike theory. Hazard failed ... no score on 5 out of 14. Bullshit. I have been driving 50 years. It’s a poor test.

how does the theory test work. do you book it, go in and sit the theory first then the hazard perception or do it in one sitting?
You sit the theory test (multiple choice) section first and then the hazard perception test straight after 😊. You have to pass both to pass overall!

There is no set limit. As long as you don’t click repeatedly or in a pattern you will be fine 😊

I’ve got my theory test coming up in a couple of days and When I see a hazard I click once then leave a 1 second time gap and click it again so on is that a pattern?
Click at the point you see a potential hazard, again if it becomes a developing hazard and again for the safety click. There's no specific time in between, its just as and when (and if) they happen :)
