Why is Meg giving us 50% of the plunder? I know it’s because we’re the player, but wouldn’t she start at 25% at the highest, and 50% being a speech check? Think of it like The Dark Knight when Joker made his offer to the gangsters. Failure ends with Meg laughing her ass off.
Yea, I find it weird that one person gets 50% of the take... and her raider buddies get less than 50% because of the split from 50%.
Granted, the player is not only the one who gives them concrete information that the treasure is real, they also give the location and detailed schematics of the Vault abd it's defenses.

I found a holotape at spruce knob lake inside a building communication between Rocco of foundation and lev from crater...... I haven't found Rocco at foundation
Fisher is the first person with that accent I've heard...if he was German I think his name would be spelled Fischer, so I believe he's Norwegian...however now that I think about it, there is that beached cargo ship in 4 that is full of Raiders that speak Norwegian...

Man I guess the only reason why the Overseerer is all we need to do this plan with the gold is because this is an online game so they couldn't add in an option where you can convince her not to go for the vault raid.
It would be nice if there was a different way to get closer to Crator or Foundation that went with the lets not raid the vault story.
I mean, that logic could apply to most quests in any video game. Especially main quests in rpgs. Like trying to convince Cerberus to work with the Alliance, or trying to convince the NCR to withdraw from the Mojave pre-Battle of Hoover Dam.
If they decided to go agricultural, they could have the Raider Crater Tater Generator.
my idea for the beam is since the station was ussa=nasa a civilian organization the beam was probably to supply limitless power across the country and possibly its allies. Solar beams are conceived semi-current technology we could have today and have power satellites beam power down to a large collector array and power cities indefinitely. With fallout having energy weapons and fusion technology they could improve on this concept 100xfold and power an entire continent off a single array. it can be used for long-range communication as well and even laser highways to push ships up to near relativistic speeds for interstellar travel. But in the fallout universe having fusion, shields etc and teleportation tech. They wouldnt need it as all those technologies they have would have allowed them to create FTL systems negating the need for the beam to be used for transportation
In my mind, a beam from space can only mean microwave or a shockwave cannon.
The shockwave cannon can still work in space, even if there are very little atomic particles in it to carry the sound waves.
And microwave being either direct electric transmission for solar collectors planet-side, or as a weapon.
I'm guessing the latter because the US government has been highly militarized because of fuel shortages, and the space station was repurposed.

Would the crash site make sense if it were ARCHIMEDES I in which it de-orbited from Nevada to West Virginia?
It crosses approximately 10-12 states from West to Mid-West to Mid-East in a straight line.

A while back some friends and I played The fallout tabletop RPG. I decided to play as myself so I would have been in my 80s when the bombs fell, but like Lou I was turned into a ghoul.
Been thinking of picking up the game. Is it any good for co-op?
@@dylanmahaffey8920 I think you might be thinking of the board game, which sucks in my opinion. I mean the DnD style tabletop RPG. If you Google "Fallout pnp" you can find the rulebook.

Let's take it a step further and say that Vault 74 is the national supply of Tungsten.
And Vault 92 is the national supply of Uranium.

Did anyone else had an issue with finishing wastelanders quests this week? I seem to ctd every time I try to enter to Paige’s headquarters in Foundation in order to deliver the liberator body to Jen to progress the vault 79 heist with the help of the settlers and penny hornright, but I guess I can’t finish it until they release the next patch in September, sigh

I'm getting to a point in 76 where I'm starting to hate the new NPCs. Foundation, Crater.. Both Paige and Meg are jackasses in their own ways. "Well we're here to stay".... Not if I kill you all.... I mean, I've killed hundreds of Scorched, ferals, Mutants, and cryptids. A handful of naive settlers or drugged up raiders wouldn't be a big problem.. Ugh....

Loving learning about the lore, but playing this kind of Battle Royale-esq type of format for fallout just doesn't interest me.

Hey ox, you should play throught fallout new callifornia.
All that story about Vault 79 and gold don't make any sense as it is told in this game.
You are supposed to rob the vault and get the gold, but no, at the end the gold stays in the vault guarded by a handfull of old secret service agent that have absolutely no authority of any sort as the governement doesn't exist anymore !
You get out with 1000 gold or shre 500 with a community that's all.
So where the gold you exchange in those communities comes from ?
Who print the notes and decides to give them away ?
That does not make any sense, actually a goverment has a gold amount that warranty a certain amount of money they distribute to the population in exchange for values like terrain, houses, products form work ...
But that story in that game where you get notes from people who don't have any value to warranty it, then you exchange them for gold that you give back to the vault ????!!!!!
It would make a little sense if the raiders and Foundation had taken all the gold from the vault and then suddenly decide to send that back to the vault as a warranty for the new money.
All that economy concept in that game is stupid, just as to give gold any value, gold only has value if you can exchange it with another country for example in a global economy. But in a local economy of some people rebuilding their homes in a post apocalyptic world, it's absurd!
Honestly, all this gold in Fallout 76 got me thinking about the NCR gold from Fallout 2. Like Oxhorn said in the video, if all of the gold from Fort Knox is in Vault 79, then there shouldn't be any good left for NCR to use for their NCR money. Then again, I need to double check and see if it is a different location that the NCR find the gold.
Going thru all the dialogue options is a waste of time since there is always one choice that stands out as the best to continue the story line.
