Thanks for the great video! I shoot lefty...I'm a little concerned about having the camera on my left and being able to see the viewfinder. Any suggestions?
Thanks! One thing you could do is purchase some kind of external monitor. I've linked to one here just as an example. www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1401154-REG/smallhd_mon_focus_sdi_sdi_focus_monitor_kit.html/?ap=y&ap=y&smp=y&smp=y&lsft=BI%3A514&gclid=CjwKCAiA-_L9BRBQEiwA-bm5fjTy6hJ9_1A0GzD2RGSCfqg9wjLxSKebdN4KefsJbIwfwwyhUwWekxoCxy4QAvD_BwE
@@whitetaildna Thanks for the quick reply! I'm not willing to spend that kind of money yet. I'm looking at a $100 camcorder just to try it out. I would like to record my son shooting his first deer next fall. Thanks again!
Hey great video! I just subscribed! Love your content and very well explained. I just started my own outdoor channel a couple of months ago and am finding it to be a huge learning curve in both developing my own style and trying to learn how to put our quality video. Thanks so much for all your info. I am now using a Muddy hunt hard camera arm, but was thinking I might need to upgrade to the one you have. Do you have any thoughts on that. Thanks tons and God bless!
I'm done with DLSR's. More trouble than their worth. I'm stuck on camcorders. Use video cameras for videos is my mantra now and leave the photography cameras to taking pictures. I'm using a Manfrotto tripod too, but I'm going to use a Muddy arm this year for the first time with my Canon VX-1 which is an insanely good camcorder.
Great video, I'm wanting to film my hunts this year and I've just got a Canon Vixia HF G21 camcorder, Varizoom rocker controller, rode shotgun mic pro and a fourth arrow camera arm and I'm totally new to this, what do you recommend on all settings for this camera? Thanks in advance
Good tips.
Thank you!

I’d probably recommend upgrading if you can. Good luck!

Can the VariZoom go in a cannon t3i
Huntin With Heikks I don’t believe it’s compatible with a DSLR, but I’m not 100% certain
