It’s so entertaining to see my favorite magicians getting their jaws dropped and feeling so great getting fooled! A respectable man knows how to respect others when it’s due.
I love it when people act surprised that the magician fooled Penn and Teller when the entire time Penn and Teller were just sitting there slack jawed in amazement watching the routine. This is the best coin magic I've ever seen.
Not always true. I've seen their jaws drop and then they come back and bust them. This trick was easy to figure out anyways. Hernan is obviously a wizard and must be on summer break from Hogwarts.
that's the best part about magic, i like watching stuff like this, because i like figuring out how it's done, even with my 150+ IQ i often never figure out how they did it, however i can always come up with my own method on how to do it, altho my methods always rely on more technology than classic methods (like simple sleight of hand, palming...etc)
As a fellow fooler and a great friend and brother, I couldn’t be prouder of you. 😍 Your magic is not just about deception, it’s about heart, simplicity, and true artistry. Watching you captivate Penn & Teller, and everyone else, was pure joy. For those who don’t know, Hernán’s magic goes beyond what you see here. His philosophy and deep understanding of our craft make him one of the most inspiring magicians I know. If this performance moved you, I highly recommend checking out his work. Bravo, hermano! 👏👏👏
I have to say that this was amazing to watch and watch again. I was going to say that it reminds me to Javi Benitez' one with the cards a few years ago. You are both legends among the legends.
Your show was also beautiful! I watched it already 100 times- Just so nice. From blank cards to joker, then to aces, then to queens and back to black cards. I really really love that one! 100% desered trophy!:)
I’m also a past guest performer on P&T and I have seen a lot of magic and created a lot in my life BUT this is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen! Bravo!
@javibenitezmagic - we were fortunate to see you perform live after you fooled P&T and your routine was as mind blowing as this one. What a stellar compliment from one magician to another.
They know exactly how it's done. It's a pretty standard illusion. The catch is he did it up close and did it super clean. They gave him the trophy because they didn't catch any of the moves, even sitting right next to him. That's impressive.
Every once in a while there is a magician that comes on the show and nails it, then has people taking about that trick for years to come. This is one of those moments
This is just absolutely astonishing. Clean table, clean props, sleeves rolled up, hands never touching, hands never out of sight, and constantly flashing clean palms throughout. Even the one little moment with the coin not laying flat at 2:41 doesn't help me the _slightest_ with how you got it into your hand to begin with so much as reassure me it is, in fact, an illusion and you haven't unlocked the secrets of true sorcery. You, sir, have left me well and truly boggled. I applaud you.
I don't think the coin not lying flat means anything. He's got a mat on the table that is clearly visible and P&T check it over. The coin simply landed partially on the mat and partially off.
The "box" can change shape allowing a coin to go through it, by pressing it together. Watch at 3:29. He turns his hand , pushes the coin out the "box", onto the table, then quickly turns his hand upside down over the coin. He then quickly puts the "box" lol over the coin he has hidden under his hand real fast.
are you watching on some microscopic monitor? that coin simply landed on edge of the mat ... duh. you can clearly see it if you have eyes and normal size monitor.
When a sleight of hand expert performs a routine like that one, it really is a work of art. Close up coin magic is one of my favorite things to watch. When a person has completely mastered a coin routine, it's mind-blowing to watch. At the same time when Teller sits a foot & a half away & is confused, you know the performer just did something special. Teller is an encyclopedia of sleight of hand moves. One of the only times I've seen them not even try to lay out theories. Excellent routine.
How can you say this? The camera was jumping around at the rate of about 20+ times in 30 seconds. I'm looking at his hands & the camera changes, the angle changes, & his hands are totally hidden. Then show his hands for .05 seconds, then camera change, then angle change & 10 more changes in 3 seconds... It's OBVIOUS that the camera work played into hiding how he was doing this to the home audience. So again, you CAN'T say ANY of what you've said, BECAUSE YOU CAN'T EVEN SEE ANYTHING HE'S EVEN DONE!!! I saw him reach right for the edge of the table MULTIPLE times & there was a jump cut in the recording & it cut to another angle WITHOUT his hands. So he OBVIOUSLY reached off the table, grabbed or dumped a coin & returned his hand.
I would think that they for sure figured out the gimmick, even if they didn't follow every bit of the sleight of hand. They've definitely seen plenty of tricks using exactly the same method.
Pretty easy. I still remember when someone fooled them with two coins fall from one hand to another and they thought it was a shell. Only flipper does that and the whole routine was based on flipper not a shell. That’s rookie mistake
I have never been a fan of using coin boxes in magic but this is simply amazing. The best coin box routine I have ever seen. I had to stop the video few times during the act, not to watch it again but just to collect my jaw from the floor. 😂😂 Amazing, amazing, amazing!
You're just too good. I have no words. The Juan Tamariz inspiration is palpable. The music also fits the performance so well, which makes it very enjoyable to watch. Such a simple trick but you made it look wonderful.
That was an amazing routine! Maybe I am a rare person, but I honestly don’t want to know how the trick was performed. I just want to sit and be amazed for a few minutes. Thank you for the gift!
Beautiful, Deceptive, simple and natural, congratulations Hernan, always is a pleasure watching your magic I wish you the best, you are an inspiration, Miss you my friend!!!
I just watched this last night. I was also just as amazed as Teller was, every time the coins vanished from the brass cylinder. This is what real magic looks like!!

That was freaking amazing. I could see the palming in the left hand but the vanishing in the right I have no idea how it was done. Absolute magic in the purest sense of the word.
I think he may have missed one palm (or whatever) on the vanish side, but he recovered flawlessly. I have no idea whatsoever how he ditched the coins. No idea at all. This is amazing.

Single trick, not a whole performance. Simple and to the point. And yet you bring wonder to even the hardened magicians you were performing for. This may have been the *perfect* Fool Us performance.
The beauty of the ttrick is that it looks easy and simple ... just like olympic artistic skating : you don't seem to perform, you look like you are having fun and improvise everything and the years of practice simply vanish with the coins to let real magic before our eyes. Bravo , it is amazing.
Absolutely stunning! You're really really good Hernán. I watch as many acts from Fool Us as I can, and you're easily up there with the very best. As good as any of them.
@2:48 when he puts the third coin in, he is somehow able to take the second (or maybe first) coin out from under it and into his palm. The brass cylinder as innocent as it seems is hugely important, probably with edges to catch the coins just right. Just my best guess. But the stuff after that I have no ideas. This is truly top top top tier stuff. Bravo.
OMG I just woke up now and watched this first thing in the morning and my Day is made. I would rather say, my months and Years have been made. That is easily the Cleanest Magic I have ever seen. Incredible. Congratulations Brother Hernan from the land of our beloved Messi. We have another GOAT in here.
That was an absolutely amazing routine. I don't think I've ever seen such a well-done coin routine, it was truly magical - and I'm usually not a fan of coin routines.

That is a gorgeous routine. Thank you for sharing it with the world!
Absolutely stunning! You're really really good Hernán. I watch as many acts from Fool Us as I can, and you're easily up there with the very best. As good as any of them.
Holy crap. That was incredible!
Jajaja.. los dejaste con la boca abierta.. jajaja 😂 .. pocas veces los he visto a los 2 tan perplejos.
Felicidades 👏
Bravissimo!
This is one of the best routines i have ever seen. It really awakened my inner child making me want to believe that magic is real
Bravo.
Simple and amazing the balls of dedication to fool them with coins in close up situation only with coins brutal stunning ....wow
Hasta ahora la mejor y más limpia rutina de monedas que he visto
OMG
I just woke up now and watched this first thing in the morning and my Day is made.
I would rather say, my months and Years have been made. That is easily the Cleanest Magic I have ever seen. Incredible.
Congratulations Brother Hernan from the land of our beloved Messi.
We have another GOAT in here.
OMG wow this is brutal! You did very well! Hats off to you Sir.
This was INCREDIBLE! ❤❤
Of all the magic I cannot explain I can explain that the least. Beautiful, sir.
Magic keeps getting better and better
That was an absolutely amazing routine. I don't think I've ever seen such a well-done coin routine, it was truly magical - and I'm usually not a fan of coin routines.
That was cool! Good to see Penn and Teller again too!
I could tell they were fooled before they left the stage. Bellissimo!
Absolutly incredible!
What a great routine. Only pure charisma and incredible control. I enjoyed this so much. Hope to see you in the Magic World in Vienna Austria, some times.
That’s gotta be the best sleight-of-hand anyone has ever seen
I played the video 27 times in slow motion and I realized that I was fooled 27th times!!!! OMFG!!!! THIS IS SUPERB!!! Classy act! Straightforward!
I WAS ONLY FOOLED 26 TIMES AND THEN I GOT IT.
@@TRICK-OR-TREAT236 got what, that you don't know how he did it?
Coin routines, as beautiful as they can be, NEVER fool. This...this is wizardry. Bravo!
Absolutely fantastic performance Hernan... Congratulations and all the best from Denmark...
