    Your explanation of why you did the double crop beans helped me understand why my neighbor just planted his. He just finished harvesting wheat then planted beans which I thought was late until now.

    Did you have to run your pumps yet? I love those things!

    • @WesFarms
      @WesFarms  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haven’t had to run them this year. It’s been dry

    Juju beans! We have a bit of a climate advantage. Our wheat comes off in end of April first of may. So we get nearly full season beans behind wheat.

      That helps!

    Looks like you had a great crop of marestail along with your wheat!

    Do you put wheat back on the same field after you harvest the double crop beans in the fall?

    • @WesFarms
      @WesFarms  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No this field will be planted to corn next year. We plant wheat following soybeans but wheat is a very small part of our operation. Usually less than 5%

    Would it be easier to find that catch basin if it was painted red?

      Maybe but probably not

    Doesn't it seem, sometimes, that you spend more time moving stuff around than you spend in the fields? That has to be frustrating.

    What ? No comments? Demoing a head? I'm old , I may have forgotten the details. Warn a guy before you flash that chrome dome. Stay cool when you can. Hope you got the rains!

    Did you see the size of those teeth on that deer fly?! They bite fast and hard.
    I’m glad I’m not the only one that hates to get a clean piece of equipment dirty the first time.😆👍
