Ebay has changed my life because when you were at Retail Fest, i was on holidays in Europe for 3 weeks with my hubby. We wouldnt have been able to have these types of holidays without my Ebay sales.

I love my ebay journey. It has enabled me to have a lifelong dream. I retired early from a highly stressful job then ran into some unexpected disasters. Starting my small ebay store has given me the means to finally enjoy my life while dangling endless possibilities I can achieve if I grow through enthusiasm and education. Next year will be awesome.

I have been selling on Ebay for 18 years....I was a Police Officer but when my children were born I was able to be a stay at home mum...I never went back...Ebay has paid for braces for both kids, a new car, a cruise to Vanuatu, private education and when my husband got very sick and lost his job, I just sold more. It has changed my life for the better and now my youngest does Ebay as well as Yr 11 and his other part time job...I love that you can be selling things when you are asleep and you can put in as little or as much time as you like...its up to you!!! Love it!!!!

Hi guys we watch your vids all the time. Retailfest looks great as a new re seller. Watching your videos inspired me to start my eBay journey. We didn’t have much space at the start and we only sold media. DVDs video games etc. now we seek just about anything we can flip. My daughter and myself have been reselling for the last six months It is lots of fun going around to secondhand shops garage sales markets picking up things so we can resell spending time together and giving us a little bit of extra cash each. EBay has changed my life by giving me the opportunity to create an income and allowing me to do that from home in pockets of my spare time while still being able to be a stay at home Mum! Shippstation is fire, I didn’t know it had an eBay integration or I would have suggested it for you guys. I really think it’ll speed up/change your processes.
It has its janky moments but with 2 people we can pack and label 1-2 merch orders a minute 😊

So awesome to meet with you both. Retailfest has been a go to for mw and my business for abot 10 years now. It is now so more interactive than ever. Shipstation i am not sure how much it is, i currently use readytoship for my shippng integration, and it brings in multiple ebay stores, websites and marketplaces into it, will sit out envelope labels or mypost business labels and others, and then automatically marks posted and updates tracking numbers. It is $85 per month and saves me and staff hours a day, so cost effective if you look at how much time you save in wages, I have been using for about 8 years now. They do a demo free trial as well. Love your post and if you need more ebay cups i have some too. Swiped about 5 myself. Thanks for all the chats.❤

Retail fest is definitely now on our must do list. It was so beneficial not only with tangible takeaways but also mentally as a reset for us to see what we need to change and improve in our business.
eBay has changed my life as it was a business I started from scratch when my husband lost his job at the start of Covid. It fully supported our family until my husband went back to work one year after the commencement of Covid in March 2022. It has now become my full time job and I love it.
I love hearing these type of stories it’s amazing what we can achieve.

EBay has changed my life by helping me relax on the concept of needing full time employment/ typical career path. It's always helped to bring last minute income and something to fall back towards after leaving the rat race.
Many times since 16 years old to now 25 my savings got low, but in retaliation, the listings get high lol.
Love that it’s such a good vehicle to leverage in those situations. Thanks for sharing your story 🙏

I run a bricks and mortar vintage shop, business has not been good since covid, I have started selling on Ebay and it's keeping my vintage shop and me going on, I'm heading towards retirement but I am planning to continue selling on ebay after retirement, so ebay has changed my life by helping to keep my shop going

Hubby and I have embarked on a pretty massive financial goal of paying off our mortgage before we are 40 so having Ebay at my finger tips to reignite my reselling side hustle it has already changed our life being able to bring in the extra cash we need to achieve that goal while also allowing me to work from home while raising our 4 kids!

This would have been awesome, I would have loved to hit up some eBay staff as to why when I finally get to speak to someone on the phone, they have no idea what they are talking about.
I just had massive issues with postage when my store was in away mode, when explaining how their away settings work (20 years doing this) I was told the most ridiculous answers, asked for a supervisor, unable to, forced to hang up, their seller help needs a massive overhaul 😂
eBay has made me more independent. Being my own Boss....making my own 'waves'....letting me have a coffee whenever I want so one of those Cups would be greatly used ;)

Hey guys, love your work. Quick question. Is there somewhere I can authenticate a signature on a jersey? I think you guys had a Niki Laura jacket done once if my memory serves me correct?
Hay, yea we sent ours of to PSA in the US. We only would recommend this on unique / rare signatures if you think the value will increase significantly but having it authenticated as it can be pricey.

It was an interesting discussion as it was very niche question but the simple answer was if you are shipping from anywhere in Aus you should be fine all that will happen is it will be hard for eBay to correctly identify your expected delivery date on your listing as it will continually be different depending where you are shipping from.

What do you with big heavy bulk purchases. Just had someone buy 3 gaming consoles and games and the weight hit 22kg which was $125 of shipping - do you charge shipping per weight or just have a set shipping cost per item
Wow that’s a high price for shipping, would you be better off splitting them into 3 smaller boxes? That might be cheaper if it’s three orders?

We are currently on features which is the mid tier, in terms of recommending one of just have a look at the cost and work out which one is going to suit your size store the best.

Ebay has been a consistent side hustle for me alongside my IT job for the last 15 years. IT provides me with enough income to visit the Uk to see my family more regularly than I would otherwise be able to do. How good is that?

eBay changed my life by providing a platform for my passion. From struggling to make ends meet in 2019, I turned to selling unique finds and stuff around my house, eventually integrating it into my life part time. Now, I have the freedom to support my family comfortably and spend more quality time with them.
Thanks mate hard to capture the whole vibe but it was a really positive experience.
