My mom is like that, they have narcissistic personality disorder, bipolar, and psychosis and they use guilt trips to put their kids in submission so it was not a surprise when black Chyna acted the way that she did because she was tired of the abuse, narcissists know how to abuse and manipulate by abusing them emotionally , spiritually , mentally, etc. they do everything to break down their children’s spirit, there is always a scapegoat and there is always a golden child and they use triangulation to fit their narcissistic needs believe me I’ve had to go through this for years it actually took me years to figure out that my own mother was like this it took me 25 years to figure out something wasn’t right with my mom. And once you are a victim of a narcissist parent the adult child will grow up questioning everything. For me I call someone else mom just because someone gave birth doesn’t give them the right to abuse. narcissists have children so it can continue the cycle of abuse and when the scapegoat child doesn’t follow the narcissist they put all their blame and everything on that child.

My brother is the "golden child" and that's because he had my brother much later and this is a "fresh start" for him, because he knows he messed up with me. It also took me 25 years to realize he was a narcissist. This mom is a great example of this by how she's yelling at Chyna to name one thing her grandma bought for her and that she was the one who bought her shoes etc. People don't need to buy you anything to give you the emotional support you need. I love my mom more than my dad, even though she did nothing for me financially because she couldn't, she was emotionally loving towards me and always showed how proud she was of me, unlike my dad who expressed the exact opposite. They try to use material objects and financial dependency against you and when you express how terrible they are, they down play it like they nothing wrong because they financially supported you and bought you stuff (and my dad financially supported me to the bare minimum. My girlfriend [now wife] paid for my meals growing up).

YOU DONT OWE YOUR PARENT ANYTHING FOR RAISING YOU. A parent choices to bring a child into the world and it’s their responsibility to raise that child. That child doesn’t owe anything for life, especially in this situation in which she built herself to what she is.
I believe you should look out for anyone who looked out for you. It just wouldn’t sit right for me not to help my mom who was good to me. On the flip side, one should be grateful for the support they receive.

My mom told my mother in law to be that I am the biggest disappointment in her life. She cried and said she was so so sorry that my mother said that she cried she was so upset and said she would be proud to be my mother and she has always shown me that 16 years on. Blood is not always thicker than water and Angela has some great friends who are just like family keep those close to you they are you're family.

They estranged for a reason and looking at this and both attitudes it seems Angela is very passive aggressive but Toni is just plain aggressive. Being passive is like a defense mechanism when you know everything else you’ve tried has failed and you’re just not getting through to whoever it is. Seems like Toni is miserable and instead of doing something to fix it she rather bring the one person she knows she has an effect on and chooses to bring as much of her joy with her. What baffles me is her "mom's" lack of awareness.....MOM is not just a title there are levels to it and it doesn't mean you are entitled to anything.
The dysfunction is so painful to watch. There are root issues, toxic patterns and experiences from childhood not being addressed. All the violence is them trying to release pain but it reinforces it.

I think the concept of family can and should be this beautiful thing, but abuse is abuse, and some people just can’t say “family is everything” because it’s what tears them down and they’re never allowed to acknowledge that part.

Ugh i am so happy the comments are what they are. Never been a fan of Chyna but wow this episode just showed us a glimpse of what it was during her childhood. Seeing Chyna try several times to stop the fight and hug her and watch her turn into the little girl who clearly just wants her mom to love her and see her face when she backed her into a corner made my heart so sad. Seeing things like this makes you wanna be the best parent for your child I swear. I hope she finds happiness and healing if shes not already too far gone and stone cold by now 💔 💔
