I was chatting on Twitch and some dudes like nice name, he's a Transformer. I was like wtf? I've had this name for like 15 years and it's not associated with the Transformer but really cool to know.

I can see the Deluxe Sky Shadow sitting in Kaon's chair mode just fine, but not this guy!

You know? Might as well give Cyclonus a Titan Master, Nightstick. And, since he's the torso of Galvatronus, his parts would be Scourge, Triggerhappy, Misfire, and Slugslinger. With their Titan masters inside their combined forms, Galvatronus will be unstoppable
This one is rare to see, I just want to buy a second handed one, always able to find a review in this channel, I love this channel.
Stickers...come on Hasbro. This is why i prefer Takara. The figure looks great, but the altmode combination is a very lazy attempt design wise. I will wait for Overlord.

Found him over the weekend at Walmart and I can't get enough of him.
If you look at the pics from Toyfair for Overlord, especially the renders, Overlord's entire jet half is almost entirely new tooling. I think the only reused parts are the hands, shoulder connectors, and the sliding panels on the back for base mode. Also, his crotch and upper legs/thighs are new.
CelticMutt hopefully the chest on overlord has cavities that can fit titanmasters inside

After seeing pics of Overlord at ToyFair 17, I have say this mold looks sooooo much better as Sky Shadow. As Overlord, it just looks like a really big Robot Heroes figure. And, being an Oakland Raiders fan, the color scheme works for me too!

I love the look of this line, but after a good bit, they just have to put a sticker on it. It just makes the figure look cheap especially when they're not applied properly. :(

I glad I'm not the only one that's is creeped out by the decapitation.
I don't have any strong attachment to either Sky Shadow or Overlord as characters, but Titans Return has got me interested in figures of several characters I didn't know or care about before. I was just going to wait for Overlord. (Most of the time I prefer to get the character the mold was intended for even if the remold comes out first, and Overlord looks cool in the pictures I've seen.) Then I saw this guy in the store, said "What The Hell", and bought him. I wasn't prepared for how much I would love this thing once I got it out of the box. Only the arrival of Fans Toys Sovereign the day before kept this guy from claiming top spot of all the figures from my recent, irresponsible TF spending spree. I still want Overlord, but Sky Shadow is awesome and different enough that I don't feel like I'd just be getting the same thing twice.
Looks quite good! Very impressive head, can't wait for Takara to make it five times better in about three months!
If there were to be a third repaint, I say it should be g2 dreadwing

This could also look good as Flywheels although I doubt they will repaint it as Flywheels.

They SHOULD have repainted this into the Duocon known as flywheels...atleast that would have made sense.
Matt TooFast4U agreed flywheels may be both tank and jet but he looks completely different compared to Overlord
To be honest, this is a time I actually want the 'repaint' more. I love how the black and red color scheme looks ominous and 'evil' on him.

His original name was Black Shadow. He was created in Japan for the Victory anime, and he was a gangster. No, quite literally. He used to work with Sixshot until Sixshot faked his death and became Greatshot. He worked with his brother, Blue Bacchus.

I am torn. Sky Shadow looks like he'd make a much better addition to Trypticon than Overlord. too bad his tank cannon can't swivel.
I'm not surprised that I haven't gotten a single Leader figure from TR yet. Where did the complexity and awesome lights/sounds go? And for 5 dollars more? I'm someone who is fine with how Voyagers and Deluxes are today (and Legends figures are amazing), but Leader class is a letdown. For 45 bucks, all the arm transformation is is just "pull it down, flip out the hand". Breathtaking engineering for the pricepoint if I do say so myself.
Great review though Emgo! Saw a cat hair fly by during Transformation, as someone who has 3 cats it sure is a hassle!

I think I want this over Overlord. Probably from the lack of personal connection to Overlord where as Sky Shadow was in Transfomers Victory (I think). Plus that colour pallet...Oh, that's sexy, even without the channel's own colours. Classy and villainous.

I picked this up today and he's pretty cool, my only complaint is that his base mode doesn't really have any weapon ports aside from the main one for his gun. You can unfold his robot fists for two ports, but it looks a little silly and requires longer pegs(skullcruncher's tail works good), and his forearms can mount weapons facing away or to the side with some futzing. But you can tell they're not really meant for it. I think a port on the right leg (kinda acts as a platform of sorts right now) would have been a better idea. So I would have liked to see more weapon emplacement options as he just looks like a badass mobile assault base... that only has one cannon. The black and red motif looks great in person along with the gold touches on the plane half. He has a ton of titan master pegs though so you can probably fit a lot of them on there.

Sky Shadow's base mode is arguably the better of all the current bases that are available now in terms of the leaders. Him and Blaster/Soundwave are the best in my opinion.
I'll be honest, I'd be a lot more hype for this guy if I didn't know we were getting an Overlord.
