When you see him sitting there he doesn't look like a man that does what he does. He looks like a little older man enjoying his day watching his daughter. But he is a man who has billions of fan's who love him. They just want the opportunity to shake his hand. And to thank him for all of those fantastic song's. In a way it's not right to be bothering him like that. but he is the boss he's Bruce Springsteen. Am living at the Jersey shore Cape May New Jersey. Wildwood boardwalk it's a place in enjoy going for a walk on. A couple of years ago I was taking one of my walks. people are always saying that Bruce is always walking around jersey shore. Anyway after my walk I got home looking at social media. And I see Bruce Springsteen taking pictures with people right where I just was. Not even an hour ago I was right there in the same spot. Where Bruce Springsteen was talking and taking pictures with everyone. Talking about wanting to kick myself in the ASS. I will not give up on one of my walks in Wildwood new Jersey on the boardwalk. I will meet Bruce Springsteen and I will shake his hand. Take a picture with me and him. And tell him something I have been wanting to say to him since the early 70s. THANK YOU BRUCE FOR BEING WHO YOU ARE.
In Australia we tend to leave celebrities alone to enjoy their coffee, lunch, private family moments. They deserve not to be stalked when they’ve already entertained everyone.

Must admit watching this video made me feel a bit uncomfortable even though I love this guy so much, it felt like I was crossing a line between his stage performances and his personal live.

This (only not digital) was always the case, but making films, taking pictures, even without him seeing that, THAT'S being the bad thing about being THAT famous around the world as he is and by MORE than just one generation, in a DIGITAL era. an era, where the young and the old all have always their smartphone in their pockets. wich have very good quality camera's.
When he was young, this secretly filming by ordinary ppl almost never happened. Video cameras where HUGE lol. I remember, and heavy.
Ppl close to where he was, were maybe staring at him or even asking for an autograph or so, depends on the place where he was.
But NOT intruding his personal life like this, secretly filming him (zooming in that far, so problably he doesn't even know most of the time) when he is out with his family in his spare free time. This vid, just being there in Paris, as an ordinary dad, supporting his daughter.
I bet, that in the beginning of the digital era and ppl posting these kind of secretly filmed vids/taken foto's online/on YT or where ever, he was shocked. Problably his kids knew more about this 'Bruce online thing' than Bruce himself back then. Everybody is paperazi these days. (Guilty pleasure of mine, a huge Bruce's music fan since the 70's is 'I love waching these kinds of vids/foto's of Bruce and his family as an ordinary husband and dad'.
It's just different to see Bruce the husband and dad, than Bruce the singer/performer on stage)
Bruce's getting old, I can see it in his eyes and that scares me a bit. I grew up with his music. Of course we, the first generation of Springsteen fans, are all are getting old ;-). (54 now, so a lot younger than Bruce is, but still........... I hope he can/may/will continue performing on stage around the world for a long time. At least making new songs/music for a long time in good health.

Bruce was the first concert I went to as a teenager in the late 80’s.
Yes, fragile is a great word. It's definitely his age. That and he seems as if he just wants to be left alone but alas, he's Bruce. His daughter looks like his wife for sure but has a Meryl Streep resemblance as well.

Btw, Patti doesn't need more surgery to stay 'young'. It's enough (see that at 2.30) otherwise she will look as the most famous ppl, who went to far to stay 'young'. She is aging beautiful. A small wrinkle more, a grey hair here and there is not bad at all because, it's natural and every new small wrinkle has its own story to tell. Jmho as a 54 year old woman with here and there a small wrinkle around my eyes. More and deeper wrinkles will come and that's okay.

I hate how people have a total lack of respect for him. He is at an event to watch his daughter. Leave him the fuck alone. It's not always about YOU!!!! Let this man enjoy his family. Yes he a great man and a very nice man so he tolerates it, but it's just rude. All these videos make me cringe.
Bruce doesnt seem at ease at these type of events (champagne and fancy cheese). Despite his massive wealth hes still the type whos more at home in a baseball cap and pair of ol Levis down the local drinking establishment with blue collar folks.

But I also do believe that he still fits in, in a local bar, drinking a local beer with 'the guys' and just talking about ordinary 'stuff and thangs' (TWD, Rick Grimes' "stuff and thangs"). He can adapt in every environment and where ever he is I bet.
He still knows where he came from. Can't say that about many 'stars' in whatever industy. (Music/film/modeling etc) He still is a very kind and freidnly man, not walking next to his cowboy boots, but just wearing them.
