That’s crazy both were nearly identical! I think the weight played a huge toll on this
not as much as the transient response of the turbo 32 holds boost through the shift 34 loses most of it... u can tell because everytime the 34 shifted the 32 would get a little farther ahead

Not sure if you have ever done these head to heads in the past but I reckon you nailed it. The format on both videos was really good.
So basically what we learned is Johan quality > Tommy quality. Nothing flew off the R34. Lol.

I really enjoy the 'car battle' style of the last couple videos... that would be an awesome concept for a series. Invite out drivers you trust, and based on their experience have them choose a car ~50HP of eachother and run it.

This concept of drag racing your cars/your parents cars has been sick! Would love to see more collabs with Tj, Jimmy and the boys doing similar things.

The R34 really needs a single and like 200 more horsepower. With the V-cam 800hp would feel wild. Maybe even a 2.8 to square the engine up and more responsive engine is never a bad thing.
I don't think he ever intended for the R34 to be super fast and built to hell. It's just an OEM+ build to keep the cars value high
@@chrissears5482 I get that but Adam has said the same dislikes since the car has been done. I was just saying the obvious. Single Turbo would help with that transient lag between shifts, 2.8 would help with a little more rpm and better response.

Looks like they could both be built better. You could put the 34 powertrain in the 32 and it would be even faster, or just build the 28 with higher compression and a newer turbo. The 32 is just lighter, so has higher performance ceiling. That doesn't mean I wouldn't prefer to drive a 34 around on the street though.
Both of those cars are absolutely sick. My favorite is the R 34 but the R 32 is to die for also.
