Just like how incredibly lame it would be to claim you love a classic movie, put a poster of it on your wall, but you haven't even seen the fucking movie.

If you're a fan of flowers you should be able to name some flowers. If you're a fan of cars you should be able to point out some facts about cars. If you're a fan of TH-cam you should know that there are videos on this site, what the logo looks like. If you were on a game show and the subject is a thing that you're a fan of, you should win it against people who don't consider themselves to be fans.
