- We’ve had a wonderful time at the farm show in the tractor pole was so fun, but we had to leave early because it was so loud. It literally shook your insides.
Joshua was my tour guy throughout the whole show explain to me how each of the equipments worked, and if we had them, and if ours were better than the ones we were seeing.
Being at this farm show made me realize how important farming is and I told my husband last night that I am going to start being a part of the farm being in the field because I really feel like our next generation needs to still be farming. Farmers is what builds this country and I really feel like it’s important that we continue With the traditions of our grandparents, taking care of the land, producing fruits and vegetables, and then selling them in our local communities.

This is a prime example of a person who is seen as disabled is really abled to show the normalcy that he has. Parents like the ones found in crazy people who has a disabled daughter, and treats her like she’s disabled, and not enabled to become an independent young woman. The sad thing about that is that they are showing that they want their disabled daughter to be dependent on them for the rest of her life instead of joshes parents who is showing that their son is able to do anything, and is a functioning young adult. remember no one in this world it’s not 100% abled and that we all have one small disability whether it’s physical, mental, etc.
Love this, my oldest son works on farm equipment he says the newer ones are all electronically run. They are a lots more expensive. Josh is born to be a farmer❤
Well, they have learning disabilities, not physically disabled! There is huge difference there but, still this should be a huge reminder that with the right support and care anyone can overcome anything! One can do anything you set your mind to! The thing is people in our society want to tell people what they are limited to the minute they hear someone has a disability of any kind, people like to assume what they don’t know! Well, they like to tell one what they can and, can’t do! People need to learn to be more kind and, positive to others, rather than make assumptions all day long, it isn’t their place or business and, stop placing judgement!

I'm impressed with Josh in his knowledge about the equipment plus Josh is so adorable.
Now we started dairy farming in the late 60's til 2010 in 1991 we expanded to 500 head of cattle and have to say the machinery has changed to bigger technology automated controls ( tractors can almost drive themselves now).
I'm sure Luke and his Dad were excited as well.

Funny story… my best friend and her husband live in country in PA. I went over to visit them. I’m not a city girl but not necessarily a country girl. More suburban girl. Haha anyway I was driving on their road in the dark(the sun had just set) and their road is like a lane and a 1/2. As I was getting closer to their house one of those machines similar to 4:40 was coming toward me. I didn’t know what it was… but I had to slow down and move over as far as I could and not land in a ditch. 😂😂😂😂 I never knew what it was and now I do thanks to this video and Josh’s love of farming equipment! 🥰🥰🥰

We went to this ag show in 2017 when my husband was in college. He had to go to get credit for one of his classes. I have pictures of my sons sitting in these tractors. 😊
Louisville is great and the Farm show is always a hit! While your town I suggest two places that are 5 min away in Southern Indiana. Best Food/Bar is Harry’s Taphouse & Kitchen you’ll love their food (portions are huge!) and then visit Ceasars Southern Indiana Casino. So everyone can have a fun time ❤😊 Hoping next time you come to Farm show in Louisville, maybe you’ll setup a meet and greet!

What's nice about having good farm equipment is people paying you to do there field's. Never loan equipment out always sale them on business of a few years agreement. This is exciting ☺️

My neighbors just got back from this show. We're up in Michigan.
I'm a farm girl so my Dad loved "the farm progress shows." I learned to drive on a little Ford tractor. "I was 10 feet tall when Daddy let me drive." A combine can easily cost 400K.
The red is sure pretty but we only bought John Deere and always used. I'm so old, the first tractor I drove didn't have a cab on it. Then we got a tractor that had a cab and air conditioner. That was sweet. I rarely drive it because my grandfather was in his 70s by the time we got it. I still have the land but I cash rent it. The 11th commandment in my family was "thou shalt never sell the land". I have now taught the same thing to my son and grandchildren. My grandmother bought her first quarter of land during the land act. My first husband had died in a farm wreck and she saved her money and bought 3 quarters of land. During her 2nd marriage they bought 3 more during the 20s and 30s.

They don’t have a toy section whenever Mama Bell said there was a John Deere section. I’m not sure if it’s her mom or his mom but she said they don’t have a toy division. No laugh no giggle nothing. Did I misunderstand some things? Am I to guess that there’s a difference I guess between bigger tractors and toy division? Or was she being sarcastic or something? I get there is bigger, tractors, and smaller tractors but I’m maybe I’m just looking at it in a bad way and I’m sorry if I am. I just don’t understand. How about that
