I read, they temselves see it more as a Legacy, to get/have the chance to re-record songs from a period, they feel deserve to have a remake. The band stopped, so a 'Final Chapter' in their music. CD and LP come with a bonus Dvd, so it's not all that bad, although i get where you're pointing at - unfortunately, many bands do things you suggest here...

First of all, it was purely our intention to release the live DVD of our final show and we decided to include some unreleased demo stuff on the accompanying CD/LP for the same price. Second; we're not making any money from this. And finally; don't compare us to pestilence cause in this case the re-recordings actually sound a lot better than the orinal versions of those 4 songs
That's nonsense. First of all it's a release of a live DVD plus old demo recording and unreleased/different versions of old songs for a VERY low price. Second; we don't make any money from the release and finally don't compare us to pestilence; we have a totally different attitude
