(G)I-DLE has a behind the scenes video of when Miyeon and Soyeon went to Riot games headquarters in LA and they did some motion capture for the video while they were there. Also, I believe Riot scouted Soyeon and Miyeon for this before (G)I-DLE even debuted, BC (G)I-DLE debuted in May of the same year that this came out.

They put some nice detail into the animation in this and the later videos. For example, if you pause when they're dancing, you can see that they aren't just copy-pasting the dance keyframes between them. There are small variations in timing and gesture to suit the character, for example, during the chorus Evelynn doesn't lift her knee like the others because she's wearing a short, tight skirt. In Evelynn's featured video, There's a moment where they animated in a wobble as she takes a step, and in a close up shot her lips stick together briefly at the corner of her mouth as it opens.
I didn't heard this song when it originally came out. I discovered it after N.Flying a Korean band did a cover of it and other songs in their League of Legends OST medley. After that I got obsessed with it and even dived more into G-IDLE discography since I fell in love with Miyeon's voice

I'm sure the comments are buzzing with Neverland, but yeah, Soyeon and Miyeon are from (G)I-DLE. As of this posting they are one of the top groups in the industry. A real Cinderella story where they came from a medium (st*tty) company, had some hardships and set backs, but emerged to be a force of nature. Like others in the comments, I'd love for the crew to be properly introduced to (G)I-DLE. (To add some incentive, Soyeon is often considered one of the best rappers in Korea while Miyeon was a former trainee with BLACKPINK and is still friends with them. Minnie, another member, is Lisa's thai bestie. Since I know you guys love BLACKPINK, there's a big connection.)

I got back into LoL because of K/DA. I also delved into KPOP because of K/DA. I-Dle became my go-to group, and I Stan Jeon Soyeon. I hated rap before I heard her. She turned rap into music for me. I-Dle had not debuted before K/DA was conceived, so it was a leap for RIOT to scout out Soyeon and Miyeon, two unknown KPOP members from a smaller company like CUBE Entertainment. We got lucky that all the stars aligned.
The bands KDA, True Damage, and Pentakill were created as advertisements for the in game skins. (Each "band member" in the game has those skins available) . If you want more glimpses into LOL lore, you should check out the League of legends cinematics, champion teasers/trailers, Tales of Runeterra, voiceless, etc. For short stories the Tales of Runeterra are the best, and Ruination. For the Champion Teasers, I like the Fiddlesticks Terror of Demacia, and Pyke champion teasers best. For Music, I'm a metal fan so I like the Mortal Reminder by Pentakill (their song names tend to be the names of items in the game) I really like the fiddlesticks concept art and Kindrid voicelines if you like those sort of more 'getting to know the champions' kind of things

When they did Worlds with True Damage, they had a glass box surrounding the stage and each was actually a completely see through screen that they had animations on. There were a lot of performances (not just TD), that all utilised the technology in some way.
3:51 The one with the fingers is Evelyn, demon of agony who takes on a very attractive appearance and personality to make those she kills' fall so much harder when she kills them painfully at the height of their pleasure. Of course, despite K/DA being a different universe they couldn't just change her fingers without completely changing the way the champion worked.
I'm neither a LoL-fan, nor a K-Pop-fan and i don't even really listen to that much pop-music, but when i first heard this song a couple of years back, it became one of my most played songs for a couple of weeks. This one and "Get Jinxed" and "Here comes Vi", which i discovered thanks to this.

You need to see 2019 They did 3d glass so everyone could see everything live, it's the most special Opening Ceremony. It cost them millions to do because they only had 3 panels in the world at the time and they had to get them all to Paris for the opening.

One might think that K/DA stands for kills/ deaths assists. However it is a play on that abbreviation and the actual meaning of the groups name is Kai'Sa and the Dancing Assasins. K/DA also exists in at least 2 Universes. It exists in the band universe with all the other music groups. But it also exists in the Odyssey Universe (Guardians of the Galaxy style) where Kayn is a huge fan of K/DA.

I like how Eric said he preferred Real Life over Animation. I get it, in animation you can get away with alot more, like the clone wars for example. But if you look real careful in KDA vids, you can see that Kaisa actually moves a little better and moves a little more fluent. So as far as the Animation vs Live action dancers, I saw a breakdown video when this first came out that actually determined that the animation for each character is actually different. Each character has their own idiocentricies that make their dances more unique to their lore 'background', and keep them slightly out of sync from each other. Just a cool tid bit I thought I would share.

(G)I-DLE has a behind the scenes video of when Miyeon and Soyeon went to Riot games headquarters in LA and they did some motion capture for the video while they were there. Also, I believe Riot scouted Soyeon and Miyeon for this before (G)I-DLE even debuted, BC (G)I-DLE debuted in May of the same year that this came out.

They put some nice detail into the animation in this and the later videos. For example, if you pause when they're dancing, you can see that they aren't just copy-pasting the dance keyframes between them. There are small variations in timing and gesture to suit the character, for example, during the chorus Evelynn doesn't lift her knee like the others because she's wearing a short, tight skirt. In Evelynn's featured video, There's a moment where they animated in a wobble as she takes a step, and in a close up shot her lips stick together briefly at the corner of her mouth as it opens.
I was actually in the stadium for the 2018 finals! It was cool to see the performance live but I was freezing cause I forgot my jumper 😅
I didn't heard this song when it originally came out. I discovered it after N.Flying a Korean band did a cover of it and other songs in their League of Legends OST medley. After that I got obsessed with it and even dived more into G-IDLE discography since I fell in love with Miyeon's voice

I'm sure the comments are buzzing with Neverland, but yeah, Soyeon and Miyeon are from (G)I-DLE. As of this posting they are one of the top groups in the industry. A real Cinderella story where they came from a medium (st*tty) company, had some hardships and set backs, but emerged to be a force of nature. Like others in the comments, I'd love for the crew to be properly introduced to (G)I-DLE.
(To add some incentive, Soyeon is often considered one of the best rappers in Korea while Miyeon was a former trainee with BLACKPINK and is still friends with them. Minnie, another member, is Lisa's thai bestie. Since I know you guys love BLACKPINK, there's a big connection.)

The main theme song of S2 "Come Play" is sung by Stray Kids, one of my favorite kpop groups, ft. Tom Morello and Young Miko. Because its a trailer for Arcane, the trailer video won't have all of the song on it, so I suggest watching a lyric video of it too. The song is a banger and im even more excited that I'll hear one of my favorite groups in one of my favorite shows. 18:06...riot searched through many kpop girl groups to find suitable members, and finally chose Soyeon and Miyeon as they are the 2 members who were well known before debuting
I got back into LoL because of K/DA. I also delved into KPOP because of K/DA. I-Dle became my go-to group, and I Stan Jeon Soyeon. I hated rap before I heard her. She turned rap into music for me.
I-Dle had not debuted before K/DA was conceived, so it was a leap for RIOT to scout out Soyeon and Miyeon, two unknown KPOP members from a smaller company like CUBE Entertainment. We got lucky that all the stars aligned.
The bands KDA, True Damage, and Pentakill were created as advertisements for the in game skins. (Each "band member" in the game has those skins available) .
If you want more glimpses into LOL lore, you should check out the League of legends cinematics, champion teasers/trailers, Tales of Runeterra, voiceless, etc.
For short stories the Tales of Runeterra are the best, and Ruination.
For the Champion Teasers, I like the Fiddlesticks Terror of Demacia, and Pyke champion teasers best.
For Music, I'm a metal fan so I like the Mortal Reminder by Pentakill (their song names tend to be the names of items in the game)
I really like the fiddlesticks concept art and Kindrid voicelines if you like those sort of more 'getting to know the champions' kind of things

When they did Worlds with True Damage, they had a glass box surrounding the stage and each was actually a completely see through screen that they had animations on. There were a lot of performances (not just TD), that all utilised the technology in some way.
3:51 The one with the fingers is Evelyn, demon of agony who takes on a very attractive appearance and personality to make those she kills' fall so much harder when she kills them painfully at the height of their pleasure.
Of course, despite K/DA being a different universe they couldn't just change her fingers without completely changing the way the champion worked.
I'm neither a LoL-fan, nor a K-Pop-fan and i don't even really listen to that much pop-music, but when i first heard this song a couple of years back, it became one of my most played songs for a couple of weeks. This one and "Get Jinxed" and "Here comes Vi", which i discovered thanks to this.

Arcane s2 has an official soundtrack song called "Come Play," which is sung by the kpop artist Stray Kids (ft. Young Miko and Tom Morello)! It's a great song and with definitely keep the Arcane AND the k-pop hype trains going!
You need to see 2019 They did 3d glass so everyone could see everything live, it's the most special Opening Ceremony.
It cost them millions to do because they only had 3 panels in the world at the time and they had to get them all to Paris for the opening.

One might think that K/DA stands for kills/ deaths assists. However it is a play on that abbreviation and the actual meaning of the groups name is Kai'Sa and the Dancing Assasins.
K/DA also exists in at least 2 Universes. It exists in the band universe with all the other music groups. But it also exists in the Odyssey Universe (Guardians of the Galaxy style) where Kayn is a huge fan of K/DA.

I like how Eric said he preferred Real Life over Animation. I get it, in animation you can get away with alot more, like the clone wars for example. But if you look real careful in KDA vids, you can see that Kaisa actually moves a little better and moves a little more fluent. And that checks out with the fact that the Kaisa character is the choreography talent. It's such a small fun detail

So as far as the Animation vs Live action dancers, I saw a breakdown video when this first came out that actually determined that the animation for each character is actually different. Each character has their own idiocentricies that make their dances more unique to their lore 'background', and keep them slightly out of sync from each other. Just a cool tid bit I thought I would share.

In the League of Legends universe, which is made up of four "dimensions": 1. Void; 2. Celestial; 3. Spirit realm and 4. Physical in the form of the planet Runeterra, there are no infinity stones.
But different types of magic and Rune = Runeterra.
At the very beginning there was only the Void and the Watchers, but then the light appeared and a reality emerged that awakened the Watchers and since then they have been trying to destroy it.
In reality, the death of Gray man/Pale man, which later becomes Kindred, two aspects of death, Lamb peaceful death and Wolf brutal death, appeared/originated.
In the universe = Celestial Realm, the dragon of Twilight as Aurelion Sol created the stars around which the planets were formed.
And later on, celestial beings and gods also began to engage in reality manipulation.
The celestial gods created constellations that serve as predictions and guidance for people, and with the help of world runes they created the planet Runeterra in one of the regions, they pulled the mountain Targon out of the earth, which serves as the Gateway to the Celestial realm Targon Prime = "Universe".
One of the Celestial Gods, for some unknown reason, later hid the world runes across the Runeters, which over time caused magical radiation, thanks to which Spirit Gods such as Anivia, Ornn, Volibear,... which reshaped the surface of the planet by ghosts, demons, and later created magical beings; Sky giants; Yordles = Heimerdinger from Bandle city which is in spirit realm; Vastayashai'rei (Shapeshifting Spirit race) + Humans = Vastaya
Spirit Race and Humans and then Animalistic Humanoids races.
Later, the Targionians people together with the help of the celestials created a crown for Aurelion Sol, whom they enslaved and thus became forced to listen to orders from the Celestial aspects to seal/destroy the void rifts with their Celestial fire.
Over time, it is clear that various types of magic appeared or arose on Runeterra: Celestial, Spiritual, Shadow, Runic, Elemental, Temporal, Necronatic, Blood,...
Runeterra is supposed to serve as a place where super powerful beings of Ascended aspects = Celestial demi-gods are to be created by, for example, a person climbs to the top of the mountain Targon and one of the Celestials chooses him as a suitable guest.
Or, with the help of the Sun disk, I reflect celestial magic into the chosen people to create Ascended Shuriman golden god warriors where some failed and The Baccai = Ramus were created and others were Ascended sunborn Nasus, Renekton,... And later the fragments of them were created after the Void battle Darkins.
