Greetings, I’m a 43 year old Logger, from Maine(US). It is nice to see you Guys are using my favorite Skidders! Timberjacks are prized in my area, very similar terrain and climate; Rocky, Hilly, Snowy, Some swamps in the Valley’s!!! I run a Timberjack 450D dual-arch, BEAST!!! It’s Winch and Long Main Line, can Fill ALL of the Six-Chokers on it!!! But the late-model grapple (off of a 2001 Timberjack 660) has made it faster, not having to get out and mess with chokers! I LOVE YOUR INGENUITY, TWO MASSIVE WINCHES (my favorite), AND CUSTOM B BIGGER REAR FENDERS, adds rear-end weight giving you more traction! Getting Parts must be a (Pain in the A$$), but we’ll worth the wait! Like my state,(Off the beaten path), everything takes (2 WEEKS+), I am sure of it!!! Not much faster here!!! (Maine), is mostly Loggers and Fisherman, Builders and Shipwrights, so finding parts isn’t to bad! But Like You Guys, We have to do A LOT OF “BUSH-FIXES”!!! Rigging-it-up, so work can continue, until parts come in! It’s Nice to see, you keep chains on year-round too! The rocky ground and 5 months of icy winters, will chew the tires, right off the rims without chains! Without chains, they can’t even “get out of their own way”!!! Keep up the Great Work Guys, and Thank You for What You Do! Be Safe Guys!!!
