After over a week of work I finally managed to complete my own paper dragon! :) As a beginner, though, it was harder than it seems. First, I didn't realize the cutting and folding would take such a long time before I would finally actually get to start making the body. And then I didn't quite understand that most parts need to be glued together, until I tried assembling them all... especially the body with its curves was quite a hassle. Furthermore I noticed two mistakes in the video: 1. In the beginning, when the number of folded pieces per colour are shown, the numbers for yellow are off. In order to follow the instructions shown, an additional + 2 x 1/32 as well as + 4 x 1/64 are needed. 2. The head shown in part 4/8 is different from the head of the full model at the beginning/end of the video. Basically, the snout of the dragon is shown to be downwards in the step-by-step version, and upwards on the full model. I hope this helps others who attempt to create their own dragon :) Good luck!
@@skullgod4887 yes, unfortunately, or it won't hold together when you try to make it stand upright. I laid it out horizontally on the table, curving the body in the shape of the curves, and then glued the parts together parts at a time. It did take quite a while! Also: try not to use glue at the parts where the arms and legs go into at the end, as shown in the video... hope this helps :) good luck with your dragon!

It depends on how you divide your piece of A4 paper. e.g. fold it in half, 1/2. fold it into quarters, 1/4. 1/16 size is fold your paper so you get 16 pieces of paper the same size out of one A4 paper. And for 1/64 fold your paper so you divide it into 64 segments
Hi, I started doing 3D origami around 2008 and there were hardly any tutorials back then, a couple of diagrams and handful of video on TH-cam. It's not that hard to come up with models yourself, you only need some time to gain experience. Hope this helps!
