    I just used the beer and egg treatment on my Flat Coated Retriever and I am blown away by how good he looks and how flat his coat is laying without any additional products or coats. Unbelievable. Thankyou. Very much looking forward to the next show now.

    My dog’s furnishings have always looked dry and dull, even after a professional groom. I’ll definitely give this a try. Thanks for the info :)

    Hello, thank you for your video. I'm from Belgium. Could you clarify the proportions again if you use real eggs, beer, and distilled water? How much of each and what type of beer? Thank you Ruth

    Thank you for this. I am going to try this on my Irish Setter who looks like a taller version of your dog.

    I have a 10 month old Irish Setter puppy. Would he benefit from a beer and egg conditioning or wait until he is older?

    Awesome! Thanks! I just a beginer breeder but I love your work, attitude, mentality so much!
    I have a question... I can use this with curly breed too, right? Isn't it a problem if I don't dry it after?
    I breed mudi. Mudi have naturally curly coat. So we dont dry them, because that will be a big fluffy cloud. I just started learn this all grooming stuff with them. I try find some quality content on this "curly coat grooming" topic.
    Sorry if this is a stupid question! :D Thanks!

    Do you have to do this everyday initially? I have Tibetan terriers and have so far done it 3 times every other day and can honestly say it is making a massive difference. The one has really fine flyaway hair that feels dry at the ends and already it feels so much better. The other has thicker hair and it feels so luxuriant. But doing this everyday just takes up so much time when adding how long it takes to dry and brush afterwards. Also do you add conditioner after shampooing off the beer and eggs? It just seems to help with the brushing afterwards. Sorry for all the questions!!

      Once you repair the damage you can just maintain by once a month

    Thank you for this I'm going to try it on my rough Collie & long coated Chihuahua. QUESTION: if I use canned beer & raw eggs do I still add distilled water & if so how much?? I'm sorry we didn't catch that on the video. Thank you

    Thank you for this video. Have you also tried other ingredients? Personally I was thinking about coconut oil, argan oil, peppermint essential oil, aloe Vera gel, rosemary oil, apple cidre vinegar for nourishment, promotion of hair growth and smoothing the hair shaft of my Gordon Setters' coat.

      Don’t use oils they do nothing to improve and destroy the cortex. It would be like cleaning your windshield with oil.

    Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to try this out. I have two questions. Can you do this on a very dirty coat? And when you dry against the grain will that work just as good as line brushing?

    • @EricSalasworkshops
      @EricSalasworkshops  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s the same as line brushing. It dries from the skin out.

    I’ve used your beer/egg solution on my Border Terrier and his coat is much healthier. The treatment has made his coat silky and softer than it was. Since I am not showing him right
    now (pandemic restrictions), I’m not concerned about the change in texture and am delighted with the obvious healthy results. But do I need to stop the beer/egg treatments to get his coat back to the required (harsh, wiry) texture for showing?

      @EricSalasworkshops  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The beer and egg treatment will keep restoring his coat. To speed up recovery use only distilled water for rinse.

    After a person puts the egg and beer mixture on the coat, do you need to let it set on the coat for 30 minutes before you add the shampoo, and then rinse it all out? You don’t mention anything about letting it set on the coat for any length of time. Thanks

    Eric can I use normal fresh eggs? I doubt we have access to dried in the UK, I breed and am just getting into the showing and will be starting off with a beautiful import shih tzu and the females blow their coats terribly when they hit adolescences so would this recipe help?

    • @EricSalasworkshops
      @EricSalasworkshops  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it will help, try ordering from Amazon but real eggs are great.

      Once you repair the skin and coat. You can do less frequently just to maintain.
