I think that flood fill edge detect around 4:40 is not doing any good to it. I try to follow along but the stones look much better without it. In my version at least it is effing up the whole stone surface..

this is really the kind of software that needs dual monitor support so you can move the viewboard into it's own window for better workspace
But you can detach the window or the previews and put in a different monitor.
