This finale musical number by Ms Audrey Hepburn and Mr Fred Astaire in the 1957 Paramount Pictures' Funny Face is one of the most endearing, revering, and inspiring romantic scenes ever photographed on the silver screen. The entire sequence (set in the picturesque Le Chateau de la Reine Blanche) is remarkably interspersed with brilliance, elegance, exuberance, jubilance, and romance. Ms Hepburn's beauty and poise (in her Givenchy's well-designed bridal silk gown) are solidly stunning. And Mr Astaire's charm and fervor (as the leading man and the dance master) are validly defining. 'S wonderful! 'S marvelous! That they should care for me! 'S awful nice! S' paradise! 'S what I love to see!
This song is so beautiful! Why can't we make music like this today? I'm sick and tired of watching so many violent movies that I need a break for awhile and watch something happy :-)
just finished watching funny face .....again...this Audrey Hepburn , everytime I finished watching her movie, i fell in love with her all over again. Other actresses doesn't do that to me eventhough I enjoyed watching their movie too.
I Will Sing It To Charli I Had To Sing It To Her In The Jays Stop When She Came In That Fred Astaire And Audrey Hepburn Sing From The Musical Funny Face
@marine19064 she'd such an amazing voice. They recorded her singing Wouldn't It Be Loverly in My Fair Lady but then they used the dubbed version when it was released, you can get it in the extras on some dvds of it I think
This is nice, but, try and get a hold of Mr. Astaire singing solo “The Cole Portor Song Book” just piano, bass and drums and you will be in for a treat. Mr. Porter said of Astaire that "Astaire interpreted his songs better than anyone", I agree (in general) all but a few. I have a few songs I would like the rest of them with a video that would be cool
And they sing the song of Moses (MUSES) the slave of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty, righteous and true are Your ways, King of the saints. (Rev 15:3 LITV) And he showed me a pure river of water of life, bright as crystal, coming forth out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of its street and of the river, from here and from there, was a tree of life producing twelve fruits: according to one month each yielding its fruit. And the leaves of the tree were for healing of the nations. And every curse will no longer be. And the throne of God and the Lamb will be in it; and His slaves will serve Him. And they will see His face; and His name will be on their foreheads. (Rev 22:1-4 LITV)

It's Matt Lauer's favorite song.
