I've been watching multiple videos since I found your channel some hours ago. You've triggered the spark in me to continue my bachata lessons. And I also live in Germany! But in another City (Köln). I look forward to learning more from your videos. Danke euch! :D
Thank you so much for the kind feedback! 😊 we are happy you get inspired by our videos. Let us know if you have any questions or would like to see a video about a specific topic. Maybe we will meet at the festival in Düsseldorf in October? 😊
You all got a like from me! Started picking up bachata a few weeks ago and I’ve been binging your videos! Thank you so much for all your teaching and how easy it is to follow.
Can I predict your future? It's awesome :P If you need any tips or help, let me know, but as long as you continue just improving here and there... in about 1-2 years you are gonna hit 100k subs :D
I love this combo but I’m confused about leading the 2:20 move - how do you indicate that you want them to do that turn instead of anything else, especially in social dancing/doing this move with someone for the first time? Thanks! Keep it up guys :)
Until Roberto or Magdalena responds, I will tell you how I would lead it (Marius here).... Always make sure you lead first the direction and then the actual move. This is a life saver for social. at 2:20 it's actually a basic turn. So lead a basic turn from the high five position and everything should be all right. Don't push, just lead it smooth. The girl should follow always the direction of the energy :D Hope this makes sense :D
Exactly!! You lead a simple basic turn from the high five position, and like we said, try not to push the follower, because otherwise she will do her steps to the back. It is also very important that the follower has tension in her arm and body, otherwise she will just bend the arm and not turn at all 😊 Happy to have Marius & Elena here helping out 🤩
@@MariusElenaBachata yooo appreciate this :) wasn’t expecting to find you guys here hahah, great to see the dancing community together :D I think it’s a matter of getting used to outside turns as well- so far I’ve never done it as a leader as I wasn’t shown it yet (I’ve been learning bachata for around 6 months now, roughly 2 hours each week), but it seems so simple :)
@@RobertoyMagdalena thank you! :D one question though - with the tension, how do you get your follower to understand you’re gonna need tension for the next move? Do you just increase your own tension? I tend to find some of the follows to forget about tension unless the move is super obvious, I.e. box step/pretzel exit with a turn. Edit - I think the reason why I’m finding this move unusual is because I wasn’t shown this basic turn variation (outside turn, if that makes sense, I’ve only done turns where the follower is turning into you and not away from you). Definitely gonna give it a go at the next social :) Thank you once again, expect to see more of my comments looking for advice 😅😂
A rule in Bachata Sensual is that both the follower and the leader should always have tension in their arms. This means, we must have a good posture and think of our arms as an extension of our upper body. This means, the arms don’t move by themselves, they move as a result of moving your upper body. If both of you always keep this in mind, the follower would move with her body and turn instead of just flexing the arm. The high five position of the hands helps a little bit, because it is easier to understand that you must have tension and react with the body instead of only with the arms. Hope that helps, happy to have you here! 😊
Those combinations videos are great! please do more of those
Thanks for the feedback, will keep that in mind! 😊

Where can we find the complete turn (together)? Is that exactly the same as the one without any partner?
