I am reminded much of our Lady of Bueno Suceso warning of children being born illegitimate and without the blessing of the Church. How much the family truly conveys the Trinity and the image to be trustful to God. The courtship and battle against fornication seems to be key.

I was born in very early sixties this way. Though may Fsther knew of me he bore no claim to me and best since he was married already. It may have fotunate to me that it was not a shotgun wedding where this relationship would not last. In the times today the illagitimatsy rate is so high and now considered as best choice, The Church is accepting this too, just another collaps, I however done well..., married, had children, and now growing old together. Did I do the right thing?...When I die I'll find out.

If only one parent desires baptism for the child are they able to get it done without the other parent?

A lot of our little boys pretend to say Mass. The most sacred thing of all. 🤔

As long as they realize it just “pretend”, it’s it ok.

It's bad if it is mocking or making light of Mass, but if it's an admiring imitation or just because they think the words and gestures have a cool gravitas (they do), it seems ok. It depends on intent.
