I love this show! It's like a new and improved MTV cribs that's not just for annoying celebrities. I also think it is inspirational. If you work hard at something, your dreams can come true, and one day you may be able to build a garage like this and fill it with whatever cars you want.
Many people are having difficulties putting food on the table and keeping a roof over their heads in North America. Home ownership for many families now is just a pipe dream. It is going to be a very interesting day when people finally get fed-up and take to the streets.
We can criticize all we want, but it is his money. As long as he had fun doing it who are we to say whether he has class or taste or whatever. I respect the people who work hard and had fun with their hard earned money.
I couldn't care less about the video, but could someone tell me what the song is in the background during that first minute? I actually quite like it. :3
WOW - simply amazing! I'm so jealous :) One day I will have luxury like this, I know it! How come he didn't ask the question we're all wondering, what if that car elevator stops working? Has it ever malfunctioned? What if it quit 1/2 way down, do you have to call in a repairman from like halfway across the country just to fix it? FUN STUFF!!!!
I couldn't agree more! He earned the money so he's got the right to use it as he wants and despite looking like selfish use, the money he spent on those "toys" makes the great wheel of economy spin. It paid the companies which paid the workers. Those people have a job and can take care of their families thanks to their jobs and only because the companies pay them and the companies can only pay them because people like this man buy their stuff.
This guy must be crazy to buy a 5 million dollar garage and buy cars for less than 100000$ and having 100 motorcycles and never drive them WTF is wrong with that guy!?
Where to and why was the collection moved? btw. here is a pic (from the comments) which shows THE collection: i44-tinypic-com/ublf-jpg (replace - by . )
I actually work for the guy who owns this, it used to house is collection of exotics, Whis we liquidated in 2010. there were about 35 cars in the underground, highlights included and Mclaren F1, Koenigsegg CCX, Diablo SV, Aston Martin DB7, Mercedes McLaren SLR, 2x Mercedes McLaren SLR 722 Editions, 1x Mercedes McLaren SLR 722 Edition Roadster, 1957 Thunderbird, Factory Supercharged, Audi R8 V10, Ferrari 360 Modena, Porsche Carrera GT...his collection at its peak was over 350 cars. We sold 180.
Its like buying a game and never playing the bloody thing. Bikes are meant to be ridden, games are meant to be played. Only place where bikes should still have the price togs on is in a sales room. All this guy is is someone with more money than sense. the car lift was awesome thought
If a doomsday event ever occurred you think that huge lift will ever move it needs a huge amount of electricity to move it lol you'll be buried alive down there when the power grids are fried
If I had that garage, The first thing you would see would be a 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary. The second thing, Mila Kunis sitting in it :)
Our meaning of success probably differs. I think you can understand what I meant by my words. Success isn't disgusting, no. But, when you forget other people on the way. When you flounder and scratch to get to the top, that is. Welcome to America, though. Where driving a phat car is worth far more than life.
Spending on construction and material goods makes our economy go 'round. It's good for you and for me and gives hope to the people who are looking for work. It's the little "trickle" part of trickle-down economics, which is otherwise a failed theory.
Because of the complexity of the banking system a bankruptcy would have taken weeks if not months to process, you cannot remove banking for that time frame without wiping out the economy. Freddy Mac & Fannie Mae did not force the unsustainable competition, the banks realized they could make more money from the fees of creating mortgages then to from the interest on the loans, they borrowed money cheap, lent it out then sold the mortgages to unsuspecting buyers -knowing the system would crash.
Tom Gonzales in a Billionaire (with a B) he owns several super-cars including Ferraris as well as an McLaren F1. Which he keeps in a private warehouse.
The man worked hard for his money, so don't sit there behind your computer and cry about it because you haven't done so yourself. If the man wants to buy motorcycles and a nice garage let him. He is only supporting the companies and the workers that make the product. If he buys a motorcycle the money spent goes to the company, the workers, the government and even all of the companies responsible for variable costs associated with the motorcycle get paid. Hopefully we all can do the same one day
Ok you win. Im a shallow loser for wanting an awesome hide-away garage. Even though I wouldnt get a house that big because I wouldnt need it, Im a douchebag anyway for lusting after nice things. Nobody else on Earth does that. Congratulations. You are clearly the winner of this youtube comment fight. Feel free to put a gold star on your forehead.
Some exotics that he owns which they didn't show are McLaren F1, Ferrari F50, Ferrari 360, Ford GT, Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, 4 BMW Z8s, 4 Chrysler Prowlers, 2 Ultima GTR's, and more
Meanwhile in my house, I have constructed a portal from my room to the laundry by smashing a hole in the wall that allows me to throw my dirty laundry next to the washer leaving my room. Take that elevator garage man.
Don't blame this guy for Africa. Europe and Africans are to blame. For all you know this guy has donated more than his fair share. European Imperialism, African wars, etc.. are not this guys problem.
The Banks had to be bailed out, the credit freeze they caused was threatening to wipe out healthy companies - had the banks not been bailed, companies like Apple would also have been wiped out (even though it has $billions in cash) as there was literally no liquidity to make payroll let alone pay suppliers/creditors the following week. The govt should have provided bailout cash in exchange of 100% ownership (like auto bailout), then proceeded with a structured bankruptcy.
I love this show! It's like a new and improved MTV cribs that's not just for annoying celebrities.
I also think it is inspirational. If you work hard at something, your dreams can come true, and one day you may be able to build a garage like this and fill it with whatever cars you want.
This motivates me so much.
i was expecting ferraris and lambos down in the garage but got a chevy cruze omg looooool
I'm so happy for that guy, he really made something with his life.
I meet tom in person did some work on his vehicle about a month ago. Really down to earth guy.that garage is sick.

One of the coolest people on earth!
Boa tarde, sabe me dizer a trilha sonora usada no começo do video? Mais preciso ate os 0:50 min. Obrigado.

Love that Disco!
Thanks for pointing that out. I was expecting something like that because he says "millions of millions worth of cars in a lower garage".
Thank you!
Wow what a garage!
Many people are having difficulties putting food on the table and keeping a roof over their heads in North America. Home ownership for many families now is just a pipe dream. It is going to be a very interesting day when people finally get fed-up and take to the streets.
It would have been nice to see the car collection. Was the collection moved temporarily or permanently and is it on display?
We can criticize all we want, but it is his money. As long as he had fun doing it who are we to say whether he has class or taste or whatever. I respect the people who work hard and had fun with their hard earned money.
Ohhhhh! Vidinha mais ou menos!!!! Belo lugar que foi criado pelo sujeito.

"Honestly? Chicks dig it."
Coolest guy ever.
These are probably the only cars that he takes out in the Tahoe winters!
And he earned every penny of it.
Total Consumption!
Méchant chalet !!!
I couldn't care less about the video, but could someone tell me what the song is in the background during that first minute? I actually quite like it. :3
Check out this motorhome being brought down on an elevator! Amazing.
He is a collector!
WOW - simply amazing! I'm so jealous :) One day I will have luxury like this, I know it! How come he didn't ask the question we're all wondering, what if that car elevator stops working? 5 million dollar garage, $37,206.01 total worth of vehicles.
Without a doubt the most amazing garage but why spend $5 million to store about $100,000 worth of cars? It doesn't make any sense
He is selling the property so he took out all really expensive cars
4:30
jonny5777 you know what I didn't even notice until I saw you comment
kol I was going to say that the OP must be one stupid idiot in the first place to think that was all that man had in that garage
Who is Tom Gonzales ?
just like the holden captiva is realy a chevy trax & the new holden volt is the old chevy volt
This guy must be crazy to buy a 5 million dollar garage and buy cars for less than 100000$ and having 100 motorcycles and never drive them
WTF is wrong with that guy!?
he's rich
and stupid

@@venomrai6439 smells like broke in here
as a biker it hurts to see so many beautiful bikes that have never been driven or even started.
Where to and why was the collection moved?
btw. here is a pic (from the comments) which shows THE collection:

You're quite welcome. :) Who is the composer?
Reminds me of a book called The Great Gatsby.
I know.I hate when people punish some one just because their rich. This man actually worked for his money.
wow;;; 대박~!!!
WOW. Haters gonna hate! Who gives a fuck about Africa, or poverty this guy made his millions and can spent it however he wants. More power to him!
Its like buying a game and never playing the bloody thing. Bikes are meant to be ridden, games are meant to be played. Only place where bikes should still have the price togs on is in a sales room. All this guy is is someone with more money than sense. the car lift was awesome thought
Cool!
Yahoo News! brought me here.
Building a underground garage just to protect some cars and not using as it a doomsday shelter.
This guy is a genius.
If a doomsday event ever occurred you think that huge lift will ever move it needs a huge amount of electricity to move it lol you'll be buried alive down there when the power grids are fried
yeah. jay leno actually drives his cars on the freeway at modern speeds. even the 100+ year old ones.
To think... the amount of money spent on a single garage could probably feed a small country.
Perhaps the most self-absorbed guy I've ever seen.
I hope this guy gives MILLIONS to charity given how much he spent on a garage.
If I had that garage, The first thing you would see would be a 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary. The second thing, Mila Kunis sitting in it :)
The garage used to house a priceless car collection.
5.33 Holden Cruze??

How do you know that he doesn't?
Tom Gonzales in a Billionaire (with a B) he owns several super-cars including Ferraris as well as an McLaren F1. Which he keeps in a private warehouse.
He needs one of my remote control lawn mowers to add to his collection
Maybe he also doing this. But for sure he give a lot of job for many people so is good any way :-)

In @07SuperchargedSS's defense, the guy said he had millions of dollars worth of cars he needed to protect. I was a little disappointed too.

Lol, and what does he have stored in his underground garage? A fuckin Malibu? And what, a stock looking 2500 Silverado?
What is "SMH" ? Never heard THAT one! hahaha
that is answer of someone who is from america and never had felt the real life with a tons and tons of problems and no cash
school doesnt get you this...mind set does
Some exotics that he owns which they didn't show are McLaren F1, Ferrari F50, Ferrari 360, Ford GT, Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, 4 BMW Z8s, 4 Chrysler Prowlers, 2 Ultima GTR's, and more
Ughhhh, the things id do to own that red Chevy Cruze.
it's the BAT CAVE, you guys!
Meanwhile in my house, I have constructed a portal from my room to the laundry by smashing a hole in the wall that allows me to throw my dirty laundry next to the washer leaving my room. Take that elevator garage man.
Dammit just imagine the underground garage full of exotic cars.
What has that got to do with fancy garages?
Where are all the sportcars???
With a garage that good, i was expecting to see Ferrari's, lamborghini's, Zonda's,koenigsegg'e etc. Oh well, everyone's got their taste
I'm gonna go to the airport and rent 10 different vehicles and tell everyone I have a car collection too.
Oh ok! And to everyone else saying it is a Chevy Cruze... See! It is a Chevy Malibu, confirmed by the production team!
Hey I own a chevy cruze eaze up dude.
Don't blame this guy for Africa. Europe and Africans are to blame. For all you know this guy has donated more than his fair share. European Imperialism, African wars, etc.. are not this guys problem.
And in the next room, we find my Iron Man armor.
I'll have to ask then what kind of cars does he have in his $30 mil collection? Man has good taste so I'd presume there has to be a McLaren F1.
Not at all actually, but I understand that you would assume that.
I don't have a problem with his money - just with the way he spent them!
Im digging that duramax there, guy isnt a huge fuck
5,000,000 $ that's it?
I'm buying one.
i po co mu te dwie ąprilie SR?
where are the ferrari and lambo ?
That what I'd do.
Only because Mini Coopers are the best cars ever made.
I can understand there is a certain visual aesthetic with vehicles, but having multiples and not riding any? That I don't see the point in.
e si ele morre essas coisas vao fica pra quem

What the hell was his company???
He is definitely forever alone
Widziałem go na zupce w Caritasie
Where are the exotic cars in this garage ???
Airplanes on the garage!!!!
So why did he move it if that was the safest place for them?
My grandpa used to ride motorcycles
