it's beyond me why you don't make Alamut, the most famous castle of the assassins, available to free roam... in a ASSASSINS CREED game. Seriously. I loved Mirage but this is just annoying.
You can thank the people bitching complaining about country sized maps for that. Ubisoft overcompensated with the smaller experience to appease the whiners.
It seems the climbing systems has gone from 'you can climb anything logically climbable (old, algorithmic, dynamic)' to 'you can climb what we let you climb.' I first noticed this with viewpoint towers and not being able to use the grates at the top as handholds.
Honestly not really because the older games you kind of had to think about where you were going to climb and all that shit then when you get in the origins to Valhalla you can virtually climb everything and anything you and then with this game Mirage It basically goes back to certain areas you’re gonna have to figure it out when it comes to climbing
@Ghost_-nz5dy What they're saying is that there are plenty of places in Mirage with obvious handholds for climbing, but the game won't let you for some reason.
Why could they just not make a fast travel part which would take you to Alamut at any time no matter when which would be nice to see the place would it not.
I can't for the life of me make that sideways jump at 0:26. 😞 Wondering if I'm not doing it right, or if they "fixed" this in one of the patches. I have the newest patch that has NG+.
Crazy that the Castle was real and assassins (Nizarites) lived there.

Mainly due to budget sure they had plenty of development time but that’s nothing with out a budget

I was there today. The stairs in this game and th view of mountain in this game is very similar to real castle

if they didn’t plan for you to go there, why make climable objects and put npcs there 🤔

Development issue for sure. Probably they ran out of time/budget and that's what remains of a portion at first designed to be explorable.

Nope, Alamut is a region separated from Baghdad
They even give NPCs there, why is it not accessible by normal means?
I guess it cut content, or the plan to use it for DLC.

You can’t get there, you either go when Roshan takes you early in the game or later in the game when you have to rescue it from being attacked
